- Ammouliani is a small island of unusual beauty and an increasingly popular holiday destination among many tourists. Located in Halkidiki, across Mount Athos, a short distance from Thessaloniki, only 130 km away, it can be easily accessed by ferry boats from the port of Tripiti. With more than 20 beaches in just 4,5 km2, Ammouliani island is the ideal destination for those who love spending their day under the sunlight. It is the only inhabitant island in Central Macedonia, Greece, with about 600 people. This island boasts an incredible blend of fine sand, low vegetation, and massive rocks. It is home to numerous secluded bays and inlets and a variety of stunning sandy beaches. I truly enjoyed to stay 2 weeks on the island 2 months ago. Very beautiful place and beaches. Must go on Drenya island also (one day trip). Love it!

The only way to reach the island of Ammouliani is by taking the ferry from the port of Tripiti....... & Tripiti is a village on the Halkidiki peninsulas. 😉
