I know competition is at the heart of any ccg but I feel like there's a huge amount of untapped fun with Star Wars ccg. You don't always have to run the meanest, most efficient deck if youre not in an actual tournament. Theme decks recreating the films or just a wacky mechanic are something I could never get anyone to embrace way back when the game was still being made. The handful of people I could find to play with were always only concerned with the meta and didn't ever feel like playing friendly games.
I've been loving these videos -- keep them coming! One minor suggestion would be, because you reference some cards you could cut (due to price or set restrictions), you should also name a few cards that could be added instead. Some suggestions for this deck could be Tallon Roll, Officer Evax/Imperial Commander/Colonel Wulff Yularen (for another leader), Oppressive Enforcement, or A Day Long Remembered (if not playing by the "win if you blow away Yavin 4" rule).
Thanks for the feedback on this! It’s a good idea. We can start adding that onto the end. I know many folks are building these decks from scratch and there’s resource constraints on finding and building them.
@@boardmatt Nice! Back in the day, one of my friends specialized in finding ways to build surprisingly competitive decks while using whatever commons or uncommons he had on-hand, as he started collecting after most of us and didn't have as many of the big rares. It allowed us to find totally new ways to appreciate lesser-used cards in our player group (hello Yoda Stew). I always include a "sideboard" of 10-15 cards when I come up with deck lists for cards I can swap out depending on how the deck has been playing lately. Anyway, thanks again for these videos -- bringing back lots of awesome memories!
This decks needs to get its ties out specifically Vader to try and slow down the attack run. Both of they’re committed to their plan without disturbing the other will look to end the game on turn 4. BUT only one way to know for sure. Gotta play it out!
Somehow just hit this one in the YT algo. Thanks gents. Awesome one. Andy is a legend
Love it. Hoping you don’t pass over Porkins for the Attack Run deck. Always been a dream of mine for him to be the hero of Yavin
I would never! He deserves his shot

Absolutely agree. As a pretty crappy player myself, I appreciate these thematic decks.

Which is more likely to win, this or attach run deck?
