This is why this young generation needs a cooking class with the OG cooks. It’s definitely not good macaroni and cheese without the eggs. My macaroni and cheese is the best in the family 😂. Every time we all come together for a celebration of some kind, they always ask me to bring the macaroni and cheese ( with eggs 😂😂) ❤

When u make a roux you don't NEED eggs as a binder, unless you're one of those people who like to hold a brick of mac & cheese and eat it like cake. To each his/her own.🥴
My mother puts eggs in her mac and cheese which is why I do the same. I believe my Aunt Re does too and I only care about how they cook. And my family is from Baltimore. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

That delicious dish could've also been cooked in the oven. Sometimes the oven cooks dishes more evenly. I love a good Cast Iron Skillet ✨

Hey Kierra. I make this all the time. Next time use whole milk in your cream cheese and stir on low heat until creamy. It will give it a smooth creamy consistency. Then add your mozzarella cheese in there. The base should be smooth n creamy but still dense enough so that you can layer your pizza sauce on top, w/o it seeping through the cream cheese base.
Also after you finish building your dip bake it in the oven. The bottom won't burn and your dip will be heated all the way through. 😊

She kept saying it was burnt but she never would turn off the stove. That dip was probably so burnt on the bottom it was ridiculous. I kept telling turn off the stove. Because she like it burnt doesn't mean everybody do. Plus burnt food have that burnt taste to it. She tried. 😄
