Armored Warfare Swingfire: PVP Guide, ATGM Gameplay
Вставка
- Опубліковано 26 вер 2024
- We review the Swingfire, a tier 4 AFV in Armored Warfare (AW), with gameplay of a tier 4 Reactor PVP battle.
Stat line: Ace Tanker, Recon, 2.3k damage, 1.6k spot damage, 6 kills, 9 spots
We also take an in-depth look at the mechanics of ATGM (Anti-Tank Guided Missile) and tips for landing your missiles consistently, including firing on targets before they enter your line-of-sight and switching targets mid-flight.
This video is part of my "The Art of Warfare" series on AW. Similar to my "Road to Unicum" video for World of Tanks (WoT), the objective of these AW videos is to meaningfully help players improve their PVP gameplay.

One of the best AW-Tank reviews ive seen so far.
please, carry on.
+Throdwobbler Mangrove thank you sir!
More videos to come...
Great to see you have started to play AW. See you on the battlefield.
Perfect, I got this tank last night and have to admit struggle a little with it. Woke up and thought I would do a little research but viola... no need this video pops up on my sub feed. I think I have spotted a couple of my mistakes, so will be good to get back in game.... thanks for the tutorial !!
+Gewyne > Woke up and thought I would do a little research but viola... no need this video pops up on my sub feed
Hah, perfect timing.
What tier 4/5 tanks have you been working on?
For 5s, I unlocked the "Bagel panzer" and Fox. The Fox is a PITA to drive, too easy to spinout.
+Gewyne Oh - well I was aiming for the fox as well - I like the idea of the end tier AFV's, but hey learning the game the hard way is the way to go :)
graphically this game looks nicer that wot
+Fevir on max settings they both look pretty sharp.
Once things like camouflage paint is added, I think the tanks will have more "personality".
+Fevir NO its not looking better...maps they are good but tanks....
+Fevir Yes and no. Cryengine can look very nice but so far it's hardly well used in AW. Some things looks *really bad* in AW at the moment.
+Taugrim Hey Taugrim, a question here that I couldn't figure out from the video. After you've fired, if you move, is the guidance interrupted, or can you still guide the missiles while moving? It looked like you could still guide them some times in the video but I couldn't tell for sure.
+VaporStrike Scratch this question, your Fox video gave me the definite answer.
I used to play a lot of WoT and I wouldn't hesitate to say that I was a very good player, but I stopped playing it about 6 months mostly because I was getting tired of some of the broken game mechanics.
I've been playing AW every now and then and I would like to get into it as much as I was into WoT, but I think what I'm struggling with the most is simply that I'm not as good/confident playing it as I was at WoT. So I'm very happy to see you're playing AW and I hope that your vids can help me become great again!
+TheJason434 Same here ... just too much broken with WOT (spotting, arty, gold shells, 25% RNG, arrogant developers etc.) Haven't played WOT in months and have not looked back.
+TheJason434 > I've been playing AW every now and then and I would like to get into it as much as I was into WoT, but I think what I'm struggling with the most is simply that I'm not as good/confident playing it as I was at WoT
Well, my initial experience with AW was rather painful.
I bought Early Access but only played about 5 battles in Closed Beta, to get a basic feel for the game, but I had no interest in grinding when the progress would be reset.
When the Head Start for Open Beta began, I started playing since the game was essentially live. I had a 44% win rate in Head Start, and it was frustrating. I was very noob, but I was playing against players who had much more experience in Closed Beta, and with the limited playerbase I was getting MM'd against +2 and +3 tier opponents.
Once Open Beta opened up for everyone, I've been able to gradually pull my win rate over 50% because it was a more level playing field in terms of game knowledge and close MM.
The thing to keep in mind is that with any new game, there's the learning curve, and until you get up it, the game is going to feel frustrating.
WOW just WOW! You really are a great player! I bought Swingfire just today, and although the reload time kills me, it has potential if you do what AFV's and Light Tanks should do. Pick off easy targets. Just keep the good work dude! Hope to see you in game sometime, Cpt. Sauce salutes you.
+Channel Thanasis > Cpt. Sauce salutes you
Is this your in-game name?
I'll keep an eye out for you.
yeap. I'm not a really good player though :(
nice, the swingfire was the only tank I couldn't really figure out so far on my own.
+Military History Visualized I didn't get it either, so I'm trying to spare people the pain of the learning curve, since ATGM are so different from the other weapons systems
+Taugrim thank you! Btw. do you have a video about the different tank commanders? Unlocked one recently (the one from the first Russian artillery) but I am too lazy to check, which commander is suited best for what vehicle type, I rather watch a video about it and use the time saved to make more of my videos.
+Military History Visualized > which commander is suited best for what vehicle type
Well, I documented that here:
taugrim.com/2015/10/20/taugrims-the-art-of-warfare-tank-reviews-and-guides-for-armored-warfare/#commander-and-crew
+Taugrim nice, thank you!!!
This is some Sage Northcutt quality shit, mate. Proper. Giblert 2015, never forget.
p.s.: Been a fan of yours for a while. Glad you're covering AW!
+Depravity LMAO love the MMA references
;) To be honest you're more of a Zahabi/Danaher to us than a Northcutt, but still.
I'll wear your t-shirt for 250 Dollars. But don't fuck me with the UA-cam monetization bonuses, mate. Cause I know you got them, mate. You're fucking lying to me. And I don't like your energy. Tell your Asiankickboxer101 friend that. And send me some peanut butter.
;))
Not bad, Taugrim. Things have progressed a little, I'm thinking, since this was last created.
Swingfire can either do really good passive/designation scouting or med range fire support. It cannot do both unless you have friendlies ahead of you taking enemy attention.
waiting on ep #32 road to unicum!!
nice to see some armored warfare on your channel and i think your the first youtuber ive seen actually discussing gameplay and tactics for this game which is cool :) also whats your opinion on the bmp tanks i was amazed by the speed and the gun of that tank its surprisingly fun.
+DEANOGTO > your the first youtuber ive seen actually discussing gameplay and tactics for this game
I'm sure there are other UA-camrs also covering tactics.
> whats your opinion on the bmp tanks i was amazed by the speed and the gun of that tank its surprisingly fun
As a whole they seem to have good mobility, good alpha+penetration, but poor gun depression. The poor gun depression means you really have to know the maps well in terms of where you should and shouldn't go.
I tend to dislike tanks with poor gun depression as they are less flexible.
Taugrim
true about the gun depression for the bmps but it does improve as you go up in tiers.
+DEANOGTO look closer i am making tutorials in AW aswell and there are several more youtubers like fizzymilk making reviews of tanks
Great tips on Swingfire Thank you for the video!
cool to see you doing other games. I also like that you do lower tier stuff, because frankly, it's far more relevant to a guy like me, as not only am I seeing the tactics I am likely to need at my tiers, but also the actual equipment I am likely to be using and facing.
Btw, did you try world of warships at all? I would be really curious to see your take on that, though I understand that if you are already super into 2 games, you may not have time for a third.
+timmie timmins > did you try world of warships at all
No, didn't look compelling enough to try.
That being said, I watched Zeven stream last week, and I like how you have to lead your targets with your guns, so that is an element of skill.
WoT and AW are the combat games I'm focusing on now.
Love these tutorials! Awesome! :)
Great guide, thanks. I guess a top down view or first person view from the missile's perspective would make them too OP.
+Mark Stevenson back in Closed Beta, apparently you could fire ATGM and use 3rd person view - even if you didn't have LoS - to hit your target. It was wayyyyy OP :)
Third person aiming have a pretty big exploit. As long as the cursor is pointed at the enemy the missile will go to them, this means you can fire over ridge lines without direct line of fire. Swingfire also have really maneuverable missiles so you can do crazy midair turns and stuff while hiding behind a rock and having no risk of getting shot.
I am in 3rd person, nose my afv away from them and fire while aiming at them. The missile shoots away from us, does a classic hollywood u-turn and hits them. Its not a snapfire move, you have to be ready to do it so you dont waste flight time moving the reticle around, else it will miss.
Do you use MyGames or Steam? The game layout looks different in the garage and the bonus are gold coins for MyGames. Great armored warfare videos. I watched them all several times; they are very helpful and informative. :)
Arty in this game is much less of a problem than in WoT. They don't have the same inane alpha-damage and you get a warning when they aim at you.
+eddebrock > Arty in this game is much less of a problem than in WoT
It is less of a problem, but I and other players hold the opinion that AW would be better without it.
Hi mate would really be interested in a "beginners guide" type vid. Also a specific spotting and camo type wid would be great.
At times the similarities with wot get me into trouble as although similar the games play differently.
Yes YES! Armored warfare reveiw :)
love the info .
yes I LOVE YOU!! keep playing AW please :D
Hello Taugrim, I really love your reviews; is it possible for you to make a sheridan review? Id love to see how exactly you play that machine.
+X4rd4s90 > is it possible for you to make a sheridan review
Yes, as I said at the end of the video the next tank covered will be the Sheridan.
+Taugrim Yeah sorry, I didn't actually watch the entire video as I kind of detest the play style of this afv, but I still love your input.
You should have added that ATGMs massively lose effectiveness at tier 6 and above against hard targets which in this case are the MBTs. Hell even some soft targets are hard to damage with the ATGMs due to some type of active protection against missiles or 1 time use ERA plates.
+ZinXlX that's a fair comment, especially as you pointed out that counter-measures have become more common over time
I'm not sure how biased you are (like QuickyBaby for example), but how do you find AW so far? Do you like it, dislike it?
I find that most WoT/WT players who aren't fanboys have changed into AW entirely.
I'm one of them actually. I love playing WoT, but it's got so many flaws and for me AW corrects all of them. I've left both War Thunder (my main game) and World of Tanks behind. This may change in the future, but so far I'm loving AW!
I am not a WoT fanboy, but as I said before, this game is not for me. I feel the same as I was with WoWS, too much consistance and I don't really find Modern Vehicles that interesting. I'm interested up to the Chieftain, but nothing else to be honest.
Yes, I am WW2 Fanboy, but WoT is still much better than WT in that aream
Darth Revan It was directed to Taugrim :)
+Bjørnar Magnussen > how do you find AW so far
Short answer: I wasn't sold the first 200 battles, but the game has been slowly growing on me as I play it more, and I decided to buy a 1-month sub yesterday.
Here's a longer answer...
Pros
1. much better MM - all same-tier or one-tier difference battles are common
2. different types of ammo to work with for a given tank, no balance issue as with WoT "gold" ammo
3. stock tanks aren't as sucky
Cons:
1. damage-to-HP ratio is high, causing tanks to be able to kill their mirrors in 3-4 shots
2. snapshotting doesn't work, however tanks are accurate fully aimed-in. This creates a context where trading damage happens a lot
3. outcomes are too predictable because of the previous 2 points. Once a team is up by 3+ tanks, they win the vast majority of the time. Carries are rare, and I think that's a bad thing
In terms of neutral points:
a. the grind gets very steep once you hit tier 4+. For some reason other people feel AW is not grindy, but I think it's more that stock tanks are not as bad as in WoT
b. I don't find the map design in AW to be meaningfully better than WoT
c. the presence of arty still sucks. The warning indicator helps but my question is, why have arty in the first place?
Taugrim Those are some good points. I agree on most of it, except arty. I played arty exclusively in the EA and found it to be extremely fun and balanced. Arty is finally the support tool we needed, and a good arty player can do a lot for the team, which you kind of can't in WoT.
I haven't played any arty in the beta and I still feel it's perfectly balanced to fight against. It only takes common sense to avoid them rather effectively.
I'm guessing you don't play arty? Give it a go! Especially with a friend in arty as well, it makes it so much fun. But most of all you can learn how balanced it actually is.
Months ago I would agree and say they don't have a place in the game, but it really does work in AW, so I don't see why we should remove it.
+Bjørnar Magnussen > It only takes common sense to avoid them rather effectively
That's what I had thought too, until I started playing MBTs on open maps such as the M60. It doesn't have the agility to get out of the way of arty fire.
I hadn't heard of this game, getting it setup right now to give it a try. Do you see AW and WoT as their own games based on the era of the tanks each has? I'm always a huge fan of WW2 era games over the morder era of warfare.
+orudosious > Do you see AW and WoT as their own games based on the era of the tanks each has
They're both tank combat games, but the mechanics are a bit different.
AW puts more of an emphasis on different types of ammo.
+Taugrim I played for about an hour just now and I am enjoying it. The ammo system does seem pretty interesting, so far the biggest thing I've noticed is that the tanks have a more arcade-like feel to the way they maneuver. But holy cow can some of the early tanks destroy people, I had a 7 kill game in the M113 after about 30 minutes of playing. Thanks for casting the spotlight on this game, I hope to see more in the future.
Edit: Just realized you had made a video on the M113 covering some of what I am talking about.
+orudosious > But holy cow can some of the early tanks destroy people, I had a 7 kill game in the M113 after about 30 minutes of playing
The autocannon AFVs have a pretty high learning curve / skill cap IMO.
You *can* wreck people in such an AFV, but you have to know when and where to flank, because the penetration value of AFV autocannons tends to be very low so if it's an MBT you're targeting, you have to flank and get around it.
Great review, Taugrim. Thanks! I'm trying to figure this tank out. When firing from 3rd person but able to put the reticle on a target the missiles just go straight up and disappear. This happens a lot and I'm about ready to just ditch the tank completely. Any idea what causes this?
+rogueislehero I'm not sure, but from what I've read, you have to have LoS on your target to guide the missile to the target, so you should only be able to hit what you see in 1st person view
When I play my Swingfire, I can't hit anything. Even against totally stationary targets, I click, and then nothing happens, I don't see the missile, I click again, and then nothing happens. So I try firing in 3rd person view, I click, and the missile does this weird jagged movement and flies off into space… Does anyone know how to fix this? It seems this only happens with the Swingfire and not with any other missile vehicle…
Make sure the aiming reticle doesn't say "lost guidance", I have no idea why this happens, it just does.
Didn't play with ATGMs myself yet but this seems a lot like some kind of more mobile SPG mechanic.
+Red Ox yes, that's a fair analogy.
When arty shells or ATGM are incoming, you get the warning indicator.
+Red Ox Except the fact that you loose the main benefit from arty, which is the ability to fire from above. You basically can't hit anything with a rocket that you can't hit with a normal cannon.
The rockets are also very slow and at higher tiers shaped charges (rockets) are almost useless due to advanced armor, reactive armor and active protection systems.
The lack of rng actually makes the game even more carriable. You do have to conserve hp more than in WoT.
+Atrahasis7 > lack of rng actually makes the game even more carriable
It would, except that the alpha damage is so big that most tanks are dead within 4 hits.
Actually, for what I know, Reactor is the biggest map.
+DenkaSaeba3 it's the biggest map, but areas of it are not accessible, so it doesn't play as big as it is physically
you mind doing a video about ammo types? its alot diffrent from wot. like wtf is plastic? os "squash" ammo? theres alot of weird tpyes of ammo ive never heard of or dont know when to use.
GARGANCHUA You might find this useful.
armoredtalk.com/2015/10/14/ammo-in-armored-warfare-heat-vs-ap-vs-he-vs-atgms-a-quick-ammo-guide/
+Alex Abbott that's a good article, but I personally find AP rounds to be the most usable, not because of the high pen but rather the high velocity
Taugrim I do find that HEAT is quite unreliable versus MBTs. I've started the Starship grind and thus far it seems very variable.
+Alex Abbott IRL with most modern tanks HEAT is less useful I've heard.
+Alex Abbott HEAT seems to work fine against tier 4 MBTs.
I bought the Starship last night and it's a good tank, just like the M60 before it.
IIRC HEAT countermeasures such as ERA aren't available on MBTs until tier 5.
As long as you're on the subject of the ATGM, do you have any comments on the M60A2 Starship? I've found it very difficult to work with. In the end, it seems best in a second-line supporting role, playing more like one of the glassier TDs in World of Tanks than a proper MBT. However the ATGM on the Starship is very difficult to use because you will *always* be spotted before you have a clean line of fire.
+Adam Smith > do you have any comments on the M60A2 Starship?
I just bought the M60, so I'll get the Starship next.
Having no AP option certainly will make the Starship situationally flaky. That said, the Sheridan uses HEAT only and it seems to pen reasonably well.
> However the ATGM on the Starship is very difficult to use because you will always be spotted before you have a clean line of fire
I find on the Sheridan that I favor HEAT over ATGM for that reason, and also because of the faster reload.
+Taugrim
The lack of AP doesn't hurt Starship too much - the 152mm HEAT rounds have enough pen for most situations, and at it's tier there aren't many countermeasures for HEAT. It's the rest of the vehicle that lets me down. In fact, it reminds me passingly of WoT's Jackson: well armed, but with not quite enough armor or speed to really exploit the firepower.
+Adam Smith I just unlocked the Starship last night.
It's a good tank IMO.
I don't use ATGM because the ability to peekaboo with HEAT is much better and the reload is faster.
I'll be posting a video on it maybe as the 3rd or 4th episode of TAoW.
+Taugrim Looking forward to seeing it.
Hey guys, please tell me how to get a lock of the missile, i cant even hit a thing, hot to guide the missile please anyone help. you are telling about guided missiles & not telling how to get lock please help me.
Quick question: is it possible to emulate a top-down attack with ATGMs currently available?
+zchen27 if you mean top-down like WoT arty, the answer is no.
You used to be able to hit targets in 3rd person view back in Closed Beta, but ATGM was overpowered back then.
Taugrim No, as target the missile first into the space above the enemy and then rapidly swing the reticle on target to get a good angel on the top armor.
+zchen27 I don't know, but let us know if you try it
Taugrim Will try once I get the Swingfire.
AW is fun but does have problems.
1)The credit grind past tier 5 is insane.
2)Personal skill seems to matter much less then games like WOT aka most games seem to be complete blowouts in 1 way or another. Of about 150 pvp battles i have seen maybe 5 have been close (aka like 3-0) and only once did i win a battle that was 3-1 (the 1 being me)
+chris rawr > 1)The credit grind past tier 5 is insane.
I only recently unlocked two tier 5 tanks (AFV Fox and LT Bagelpanzer), so I haven't noticed a credit grind per se, but the reputation grind got steep starting at tier 4.
> 2)Personal skill seems to matter much less then games like WOT aka most games seem to be complete blowouts in 1 way or another
It's harder to carry in this game compared to WoT. Damage is too high relative to HP, and most tanks land their shots when fully aimed in.
Therefore, it's hard for a team to recover once their in a 3+ tank deficit.
+Taugrim The cost really goes up at tier 6+ it seems.
I just outfitted a tier 6 MBT and it cost me 4 million for the tank,1.3 million for an engine upgrade and 1.6 million for retrofits.
So it would seem that in the higher tiers your gonna nearly spend as much outfitting a tank as you did to buy said tank.
+chris rawr interesting.
The costs are probably intentionally designed that way to get players to pay for a subscription.
Once players have invested enough time to be at tier 6, they're probably already hooked.
Says way to balance arty is just not include it into the game....plays a tank that is essentially rocket artillery....
+Hellfire918 dude, srsly?
ATGM =/= arty
ATGM requires line-of-sight to the target, which means when firing ATGM you are exposed during the travel time of the missile to the target.
+Taugrim sure like all those guys who have managed shooting 3rd person?,over dunes rocks and hills?
I don't know how to feel about AW. It has the potential to be a big game, but there are a few core issues I feel the need to say. (Personal Opinion)
1.Consistency. The game feels a bit TOO consistent, I think that in 100 battles I have never felt what I normally feel in WoT. No epic carries nor close games, no tearful and joyful moments, and most importantly, no real epicness. It just feels like normally one team totally steamrolls the other everytime.
2. Skill Based MM. Okay, this one is hard. Good players are always needed to carry a game due to this, every single time. Even though it seems like a fail compared to what I said, they are often needed to push, spot or whatever else for the team.
3.Grind. Having to unlock every ammo type and every module again even if it uses the same stuff. Grind is not really explained, either.
That is how I feel. I know others don't, but this game is not really for me. I don't really like Modern Vehicles, but w/e.
+Darth Revan > The game feels a bit TOO consistent, I think that in 100 battles I have never felt what I normally feel in WoT. No epic carries nor close games
I've seen 2 big comeback so far in about 250 battles. I agree with you that the rate of carries is too low.
Once a team gets a 3 tank lead it's pretty much game over.
> Having to unlock every ammo type and every module again even if it uses the same stuff
Yea the grind curve really kicks in at tier 4. From tier 4+ it actually looks as bad if not worse than WoT.
+Darth Revan -
1. I tend to agree that there isn't a lot of room for epic carries - though the game's relative infancy DOES lead to some early, false conclusions. Even those who were in the Alpha testing didn't get a whole lot of diverse gameplay done as they were trying out the same vehicles more often than not. I guess I am simply saying that as more people become more skilled with the different vehicles (and find their niche'), that there is a strong likelihood for some carries.
That being said, I believe that there will be fewer epic moments than in WoT, and I think that AW will be paying a LOT more attention to power creep than WoT has.
2. As for skill based MM? I'm torn. On the one hand, it will afford for lessor skilled players to not get dumped into fail skill teams, but it will ALSO mean that the really good players won't have that random advantage either - and balance ALL of the time is often as boring as huge, one-sided wins.
3. The game doesn't have good tutorials or a Wiki guide as of yet, but I believe the grind is FAR easier and more effective than "other" games. The mere fact that you have A) Tank commanders that move from tank to tank, and 2) Unlimited garage slots - negates SO MUCH re-grinding and un-necessary credit or "gold" dumps into re-training of crews. Also, the possible perks that a fully built up BASE gives you in leveling your crew, reducing repair and module cost hasn't been fully discovered or calculated for the savings, (Not to mention the fact that they will be adding more buildings that will likely make even MORE efficiency available) - is such a cool feature.
Finally - PvE mode with a group of friends has SO MUCH potential - hard and insane modes with a bunch of boss tanks will be a real challenge, as there are a fair number of really difficult PvE moments on Medium mode already - and especially when you play with randoms.
+Darth Revan I feel the opposite of you to be honest. My guess is that you simply haven't played it enough to get those experiences. I've had multiple carries, more so than in WoT, lots of joyful and awesome moments in general.
A new player playing WoT for the first time for example won't have any epic moments or carrys, so I think the same would go for you in this game.
+Darth Revan I guess that raises the question of what you would prefer:
Paying a very high amount of credits/gold for premium rounds (WoT)
OR to spend a lot of time to unlock them (AW)
Personally I prefer AW's system
TheJason434 Also the ammo upgrades aren't that huge/different, so you aren't crippled even if he feels it takes a while to grind. In WoT however you are severely crippled by both the gun (which you need to grind) and the ammo type.
I really like AW since I like tactical and vehicle games. In WOT, the MM sucks so much but the gameplay doesnt. that's why I left WOT, I dont get why you need to have like 3 tiers difference in a single game where there are millions of players. But I gonna say WoT is more tactical than AW somehow and the map in WOT is much better than in AW. WoT is a liitle p2w with gold ammo.
+Steve Lo also wot has a WAY worse grind
everything true, thats why I prefer WoT when playing in a Team and AW when playing alone :D
Congratulations on making the Community Highlight!

+Brazen NL thanks!
Was funny to read that article today and then see my videos featured :)
Guess im 20k subscriber yeeeey
+Peja30i haha, nice.
A nice milestone to reach :)
Thanks for ure effort and keep up with good work, always willing to learn more!
I can hit stuff adjacent to me. -_^ psst... i turn around and fire away from them.
+SlicerJen how does that work? Do you aim passed them, then target them, so the missile goes passed them but then hits then in the return arc?
there are still aimbots to buy. why?
U joined RELIC? wut?
+Kyle Li 6 weeks ago
Greetings, a few things you've said about the swingfire and just not true. Many times I've face hugged SF and they still managed to not only hit me but do well beyond massive dmg. Granted they may be using retro fits, but no retro fit is going to grant almost double dmg which is what they hit me with and at point blank range or face hugging range. At the same time I was in a 90% MBT, as I had taken a small hit from ramming, that was killed with 3 SF hits and that is just BS, especially when you just said to face hug and they can't hit you. Clearly this game plays far differently for me than it does you. Also you fire your second ATGM almost instantly and my game play does not do that. For me, my first ATGM has to be released by being destroyed or target hit, before my second ATGM will fire. I've seen many times 2 ATGM's coming at me while the first one has not hit, that they seem to hit me almost at the same time. No there are not 2 SF or some other tank firing ATGM's, this is only from the SF. Many times I've seen 4 ATGM's from the Terminator as well, yet I can not fire my Term until the first has hit. Yes I am holding down, or clicking, or quickly clicking my mouse, the next does not release until the first has been destroyed or has done dmg.
+Paul Bialozor > Many times I've face hugged SF and they still managed to not only hit me
Yes, in a recent patch Swingfires were given the ability to target tanks face-hugging them
> Also you fire your second ATGM almost instantly and my game play does not do that
It's controlled by the client, not me
> Many times I've seen 4 ATGM's from the Terminator as well, yet I can not fire my Term until the first has hit
The RoF on ATGMs has *nothing* to do with the distance to target. If you are far enough away, you can have multiple missiles in-flight at the same time.
+Taugrim Yes, I've seen multiple Terminator ATGM's fired at me, so why is it when I try to fire multiple ATGM's I can not? It's like the server holds my second launch until my first launch has either impacted an obstacle or has hit target.
My Term ATGM's in CQC, or Close Quarter Combat, go out of their way to miss a close target yet I've been killed by other Term ATGM's while very close to them, so what gives? Why is this game so skewed against me?
the SF has always done this to me when I Face Hug it and I mean since early access, so no recent patch applies here, they've been doing it to me since day one...
Ziggy_CyPhy is my AW Gamer, send me a friend request and platoon with me, I will show you what is happening, then you will see just how often. This like this do not happen to you because your win rate is over 52%. When mine was 58%, in early access before the servers where combined, I use to never have these issues but now I do. I am very passionate about this game hence the reason I continue to play. I challenge you to platoon with me and you will see a very different AW, EXTREMELY DIFFERENT.
If you refuse to platoon with me than also refuse to add your two cents because it is useless if you are not willing to do your own research... At the very least this will be your opportunity to prove me wrong... But I am guessing you know what I say about the game is true so you will just run your trap and others will believe you over me; even though it probably happens to them too... When I say Platoon, I mean over several days, not just 1 or 2 games....
I bet you won't accept this challenge....
magazine not clip
What is this world of tanks but worse looks cooler that world of tanks
Do other games please :(
+Alexander Martin such as?
I'm still waiting on Camelot Unchained and Crowfall...
+Taugrim final fantasy xiv
rip WoT :(
WW 2 has a lot more fans than Cold War/Nowadays Armored Warfare. I still think that is the biggest point in favour of one or the other.
If you play because why the hell not, choose whatever you feel the best. I choose WoT.
+nippol AW is not going to kill WoT by itself.
The only thing that will kill WoT is WG. If WG doesn't adapt, then WoT will lose customers.
+Darth Revan > WW 2 has a lot more fans than Cold War/Nowadays Armored Warfare
Agreed.
WoT also has a lot of "sunk cost" in terms of what players have already invested into the game, so it will be interesting to see to what extent players are willing to start at zero again with AW.
I'm really interested to see the Raptr report for October to see the play time of WoT and AW, but that won't be published for another month.
because I only recently got back into world of tanks I would hate to see it become inactive which probably the most concerning on the SEA server i would assume, because of the lack of players
+nippol I can't speak to SEA population but there are plenty of people playing WoT even after AW launched the Open Beta.
Good game feel the same as the bad game....there is no feeling of achieving, no carries no draws...I dont feel nothing...no adrenaline pumping games...in WOT when you have an epic game you need to make a pause after it to come down...shooting on 100-200m is a brawling...to much sniping+rockets +arty I dont see how is that better than WOT arty...dont get me wrong I play AW but saying that its solve all problems and is better than WOT in every category is just fanboy dream...all that is a reason why many people play PvE in AW and not PvP..
Yes YES! Armored warfare reveiw :)
