The common Turbidity Meters use incandescent lamps as light sources, which emit a broad spectrum. The wide range of wavelengths can cause colorimetric interference in turbidity readings. Also, incandescent lamp output tends to reduce over time. Due to this frequent replacement of lamp & calibration is required.
Model NT 4000 uses a narrow band monochromatic light source ( I R LED ). It has a long life & very less wavelength interference.
Spectralab Model NT 4000 Turbidity Meter is benchtop turbidity meter and is the most advanced portable microcontroller based Turbidity Meter. It is based on nephelometric and ratiometric principles of turbidity measurement. It uses LED & meets EPA 180.1 and ISO 7027 as well as an infrared ratio ( IR ratio ) mode that gives results in accordance with EPA GLI method 2. It has a memory to store 40 results. The data can be transferred to PC & then printouts can be taken in a document format with the report number, data & time.
Good morning, I am writing to you from Peru, I would like to know if the calibration cuvettes can also be used for the Turbiquant 1100 T turbidimeter?...Thank you
Yes you can
Knowledgeable
Very nice and informative ..👍🏻 Keep uploading more videos ..
Thanks.
That was good. Could you please tell about the principle behind the working of this instrument.?
Turbidity is an optical property of water based on the amount of light scattered and absorped by collodial and suspended
Can someone tell me or send a link to where I can find a table or any info on a reference standard of the acceptable level of turbidity in drinking water?

@@AnalyticalTech thank you
name of song please
its motnani( vocal kimoxavi), thank me later
Sir calibration error show karta hai ka kare
Thank you 👍👍
Thankyou so much any enquiry contact me
Sir where did you buy the water solution for calibration?
It's come with instrument. For preparation in laboratory by hydrazine sulphate solution.
How much samples has taken ???
At one time, single sample
What does NTU mean??
The unit of turbidity is typically measured in:
1. Nephelometric Turbidity Units (NTU)
2. Formazin Nephelometric Units (FNU)
3. Jackson Turbidity Units (JTU)
4. Siemen's Turbidity Units (STU)
NTU is the most commonly used unit, and it's defined as the amount of light scattered by a sample at a 90-degree angle to the incident light beam.
In water quality monitoring, turbidity is often measured in NTU, with the following ranges indicating different levels of water clarity:
- 0-5 NTU: Very clear water
- 5-20 NTU: Clear water
- 20-50 NTU: Slightly turbid water
- 50-100 NTU: Turbid water
- 100+ NTU: Very turbid water
Turbidity can also be expressed in other units.
nice sir thanks for video🙂🙂
Thanks. ... share with your friends
Very good
Thankyou
Background music is quiet disturbing
Ok.
sir, please tell me the cost of the instrument.
Not too much. Price is varried. Please go through to company website.
Can you send me terbidity calculation formula
No formula in turbidity parameter. It's experiment value
Hindi ma
Sir please tell me Hindi language sir
Ok i will try
Hindi me translate Karo please Sir.
ok i will make a hindi video version on it.
