He shocks the league every year. He shocked them in Houston, in Washington, and now in LA. People just keep ruling him out for some reason.
Houston worked around him as did wizards. He isn't less of a player than when was there but he isn't in a system that caters towards him so unfortunately it marginalized him. I'm huge fan but certain things were overinflated eg okc they let him get rebounds alot or Houston went small (which they should've ran back) but him and harden had issues with team so they requested out. Only once has he really been a contender that was with kd and they had one healthy year post harden and russ wasnt the issue they blew their lead vs gsw

I think the part that I like most about Russ is dude just loves the game and did something that some aging NBA stars have a really hard time coming to terms with, that they're no longer in their prime and while still able to contribute now have to make way for the next wave of young players. He refused in the beginning but damn, the minute he put his ego aside and let it go and started to come off the bench the improvement was day and night. The fans are getting off his ass and actually being supportive (for the most part) and he himself seems alot happier🥲

Darvin Ham is instrumental to Laker's improvement this year. He knows the players really well. You'll notice he'll take out Lebron as soon as he sees Lebron bad body language. Makes Lebron think of what he can do better to help the team as soon as he's back on the floor.
