I agree with most of the comments here. My very first chinese drama that I watched was ju jingyi's the legend of white snake and since then I always watch her dramas and she really can act. And the emotions she showed in chinese paladin 4 was great so I don't know why other people criticized her acting.

Exactly. She is not the best actress for me, but I really enjoyed Rebirth for You for example. I think a lot of hate is because of the obvious cosmetic surgery. The girl suddenly looked younger than when she started even. And people tend to hate that a lot. Personally, I don't get the need, but it's everyone's own business what they do with their body.
Honestly, I have bigger problem with him. I enjoyed Untouchable Lovers when airing. But the memory sours more and more, as the time progresses. Considering most of his dramas are not my kind of genre, it wasn't much of a problem. But I do worry the memory would tarnish watching this drama. I usually have this problem with actors in 2nd lead roles. It usually needs a great FL to push me to watch them in lead roles and great performance to forget.
