this song brings back memories from years ago. incredible how a song can take you back to another time and place just like that.
I felt the same way when I discovered “the last kiss” movie soundtrack ! That and “Garden State” soundtrack. Both became the music of mid to late 20’s. Well, Those 2 soundtracks and Coldplay’s “rush of blood to the head”. I listened to those albums over and over again. When driving, while cleaning home, while exercising. I’ve lost count how many times! I’m 40 now, and hearing any of those songs bring me right back to that time in my life every time.
This song is great, Dear John also brought me here. I love how Nicholas Sparks wrote novels. God, their really inspiring.. Like if dear John also brought you this song :)
First heard this track back in 2006 when searching for the soundtrack for The Last Kiss. Suffice to say I fell in love with it from the first time I heard it. When my daughter was an infant I used to play this softly on repeat in the background while rocking her to sleep.
This song is lovely! Both Joshua and Schuyler’s voices complement each other very nicely!!

I cried when I watched the movie Dear John. They could be one of the happiest couples on earth if the bastard Sam wasn't so selfish. What's the point of saying sorry after he's done something painful to them. Why did he not think before stealing her from him at her weakest point when she was apart from him. Also she could have been stronger to believe in real love with John. Not many soldier can be that faithful to their gf while on the military. I think I was too into the movie....
