A 14 year old teenager was traveling with his grandmother on the caribbean Princess. He was last seen leaving the ship early in the morning but never returned. Parents fear he was lured away from the ship. Another fight on a cruise ship was captured on TikTok. This time it was on a Royal caribbean cruise ship.

He has been found a couple hours south of where he got off ship. Police are going to get him .

I read a comment elsewhere from a woman who said her teen son couldn’t get off the ship without staff asking her permission first. What happened here? How was a child allowed to wander off the ship by himself so early? And how could he do this to his grandma?
Maybe he didn't " do this to his grandma".. Ever think he just really got lost or confused ... Some are saying he has autism...
He might not have gotten off by himself. If he was autistic then he should have been watched that more closely.
I have sailed with a 15 year old relative and he was able to get on and off the ship without being questioned.
Most 15 year old boys aren’t thinking about how Grandma or anyone else (or themselves for that matter) is affected by what they’re doing. It’s just not in their program. It wasn’t in mine or my friends either.

Wow, hope he is found ok. And as for the ones fighting, yes they should be banned from cruising on all ships.
Minors usually are not allowed off the ship with out an adult in their party.

I began cruising in 1992. I don't believe people were having violent altercations.
I think it's just publicized a lot more with social media.
My first cruise in 2011, a woman hit another woman over the head with a beer bottle
They were fighting over who was going to be with the guy that they just met at the bar.
I couldn't imagine going on a cruise and start a flight!
No matter where you go when alcohol is involved it will stir something up. Nobody wants alcohol banned from cruise ships so they need more security. I do hope the Teenager is found safe and sound.

He was found there "safe and sound" at around 10 p.m. Lembke: "The 14-year-old was accompanied by a 19-year-old, with whom he is said to have arranged to meet in Rostock , according to initial findings . According to the current state of the investigation, there are no indications of a crime."

We are presently on the Holland American New Statendam doing the Iceland Greenland Scotland cruise. They told us we would not be going to Greenland because of ice. It seems that other ships are going there and I can find nothing on the internet about ports being closed for ice. Do you know anything about it. Love your channel!

If it were my son, he would have paid the piper for his “vanishing act.” And it would not have been an hour in “time out.”
He was in complete charge of every step he made. His family should have to compensate the German authorities who searched for him.

Sad, but at 14, he holds some responsibility here too. Should never been allowed off the ship, however, due to his young age.

Glad he was found "Safe". People MUST Monitor their kids' social media and phones. He was obviously targeted and lured. This probably would have ended VERY badly without the quick efforts...So glad he's reunited with his family! Found "met up" with a 19 year old. This smells of human trafficking....
Thank you for keeping us posted. My stomach is sick over this b/c we have an autistic who has gone on a number of cruises with us. We keep the sea card with us so that he is not able to disembark. Prayers for this family. Dear Heavenly Father, please help the authorities to find this child; we ask in Jesus name, amen.
Teens shouldn’t be allowed off ship without accompanying adult. Paying for a safe outcome.
Well, they need to review all the cameras on the cruise ship specially when he got off the ship or when he came out of his room
On the 14 year old: don't have full context. Say he/she was extremely bored and nevr wanted to take cruise with the grand mother. He/She might have escaped the ship to take a train home.

Stop taking "disabled" opposite sex family members on cruises alone when the stress, confusion, separation at bathrooms, shower times leave the person with impaired thinking alone and vulnerable. We saw this with Mr. Solomon with dementia, going alone into a shore bathroom, now an autistic, strong young teen, vs grandma, wanders off for whatever reason, escape, luring etc. Familiar environments are soothing, chaotic environments are distressing. And to compound it by not having a same sex companion to go into gender only areas, is madness.

People just can’t handle their alcohol
I didn't realize princess lets kids off of ship without a legal guardian. Carnival wouldn't let me take my nephews off untill they physically spoke with Parents..
I dont know how long that RCI cruise was for, but we do hear all too often that these very short cruises are often basically a booze cruise, and alcohol and large groups of people rarely ends well.
Our payers go out to that young man and his family. Hopefully he is found safe and sound and returned to his family. Where was security during this fight. I can't understand why people want to get drunk and fight. They should be banned and fined. Why can't they just have fun and relax.

Instead of everyone wanting to ban and speak about smoking on cruise ships I think alcohol is a million times worse fight etc and remember that under aged teen who was drunk o Royal Caribbean and jumped overboard that’s what alcohol does I never seen a person smoke a cigarette and create fight or jumping overboard so to answer the biggest question alcohol is much worse then cigarettes.
We hope for the best outcome possible, the unknown can be terrifying ⚓️
Thanks for sharing this video with us. I do hope they find that boy but I’m really curious why a young boy like that gets off the ship early in the morning by himself? Especially if he has a handicapped I don’t know. And everybody should raise the price for fighting on the ship and they should pay for any damages any medical bills cause this makes everyone look bad and the innocent are gonna pay. Just got off the Icon a few weeks ago. Our teen son could not get off without us. He could however return by himself. Not sure how this happened?
Read elsewhere that police have found him and are reuniting him with his mother.
I wonder if the 14 year old boy got off by himself or with an adult. If he was only traveling with the grandma. On rccl ships minors are not allowed off the ship without an adult traveling in their party. Does princess have this rule too or not since there are usually less kids on board than rccl? With more passengers and families trying cruising the cruise lines are seeing increase in types of clientele that they may nit have had in the past and need to adapt for everyone's safety.
My teens were able to get off without me . The staff does not always check .
I have sailed with a 15 year old relative and he was able to get on and off the ship without being questioned by security at the gangway. The boy in question may have gotten off the ship with an adult and therefore not questioned by security.
Fights on ships will only get worse as ships get bigger and bigger. The massive number of passengers, the crowding especially at disembarkation or at events with drinking and crowding like dance parties. I'll stick with the smaller ships, thank you very much.
I usually do not go against a cruise line for ignorant passengers not knowing or being dumb, but this incident falls squarley on the shoulders of the cruise line. The teenager should have never been able to leave the ship without a guardian. The computer should flag as a minor and security staff needs to actually see and interact with the guardian.
I don’t know why any cruise line would allow any minor off the ship without the parent or guardian.
If I recall correctly, he is very tall, maybe 6'7", if the description was correct. There was more info on him if you want to research it.

Banned is insufficient. There needs to be Criminal Charges / Prosecutions / Prison TIme. A ban is barely a slap on the wrist.

Hi Don. So sad about the missing boy. Hope he is found safe. I watched the X video of those two guys fighting and all I can say is the older woman who intervened for sure must be a teacher the way she stepped up and got them to stop. That type of fight happens frequently in the hallways of schools. One reason after 34 years I got out! By the way… girl fights are so much worse than guy fights. Those woman who intervened would have been going to the infirmary if they tried to stop a girl fight.

If that photo of him is any indication, he didn’t want to go on a cruise with his grandma and he’s probably off with who knows who somewhere because he’s a stupid 14-year-old kid! He shouldn’t have been on there without a parent that had some type of control over him, that’s just crazy. Luckily nowadays, there are so many cameras everywhere they probably can follow from that train station to other train stations to maybe track down at least an area . Hope they find him soon. So sad.
He is autistic, not stupid. However, autistic people are often unaware of danger.

This is sad. On the ship I will be on in a month. Yikes. Someone on another site said they heard he was with his grandmother and she was having a tough time getting off ship. Maybe he went ahead quickly. Lots of stories like he has autism. Hope they find him. Disturbing.

I know people want to blame alcohol, but I believe it is the individual. These people think of these scenarios sober, you can't convince me alcohol is making people conjure up new behaviors and then act them out. Cruise lines should create a combined "no cruise" safety protocol and ban violent offenders across every river and ocean brand. Perhaps knowing that an incident is the end of your ability to cruise with all companies would be a more successful deterrent.

This is horrible news. I hope he is found safe. I understand he was with his grandmother. If this happened to me, I would be so distraught. I pray he is found to be okay and safe. I think cruise lines need to up their game with customers that are behaving outrageously.
