Hi can i use the same 5 second rule for sublimation onto smaller acrylic, im trying to use the small round bauble shapes it always bends when i try and move it into the water to cool off
I tried htv on acrylic with my heat press and the glue from the carrier sheet stays on the acrylic making it look all cloudy/patchy and does not look good at all so is there a way to get that off? ty
Sorry, I didn't see these comments come through. If you are getting glue on your piece when pressing then your pressure is too high. Release your pressure. For the one you already did, you can remove the glue with pure alcohol (isopropyl)
That is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing
Beautiful! How do u line up 2 different prints to fit together so perfectly?
Do you think it would hold up outside for a sign?
Great video, thank you for sharing your knowledge :D
Glad it was helpful!

Hi do you find using htv on acrylic much more permanent than regular adhesive vinyl?
Definitely more permanent, it doesn't lift at all. This design lives in my bathroom and has not been affected by the humidity at all
May I ask how thick is the acrylic? Thank you!
Same question!!!
This particular piece is 3mm

No paper or ink, we used Pre Printed Heat Transfer vinyl from Printcess & Puddin
what printer?
Hi, no printer is used. I used Pre printed Heat Transfer vinyl from Printcess & Puddin
How can print with sublimation then transfer on the acrylic ,and do we need special acrylic, can just use plexiglass sheets ?
Sublimation is a whole different ball game, you need specific sublimation blanks or a coating that replicates it
