@yutubaer On the SNES and Genesis versions of this game, the level was called "Really Inside the Claw Machine", a 3D Doom-like level in which Woody must go around saving the toy aliens.
@@miguelzavaleta1911 And not to mention Doom being released 2 years prior. I know Doom has nothing to do with Toy Story, but it's just the idea of if they can put first person games in one video game for the PC back then, why couldn't they do the same with Toy Story although it being just one level?
it was actually because traveller's tales couldn't give the dev the source code because disney are a bunch of greedy bastards that are greasier than randy pitchford
I saw a longplay of the genesis version and I said wait..there was a level in between inside the claw machine and the claw. Good to know I didn't remember incorrectly. I played it on PC too.
That's because it wasn't in the PC Port. there was no proper engine for the level to run on, so the arrangement goes unused. the Fact that this arrangement is still in the files and is complete suggests the level was meant to be used, but scrapped for presumably unknown reasons.
@@thatstupidthomasfan Devs where forced to scrap it do to it not being able to run on the outdated at the time minimum specs Disney required the devs to hit
@smbmadman1 Yah that's strange... this track is on the game disc but it doesn't appear in the game itself... I played the game today again and ther wasn't any level wher this track was played^^ very strange but i believe that I heard that track in the game itself before when I was young and played the game at first! I can't make head nor tail of it! -.-
Awesome, but how did you get the tracks off the game? I tried to do that myself from a game disc, but i got error messages saying that it was not digital...
@smbmadman1 maybe ;) Don't know... but I really like this track and it's even better than the music from the "Really Inside the Claw Machine"-level of the snes version that sounds of course very similar to this track^^

You can tell these guys also made the Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex soundtrack.
yep, not only toy story and WoC, but other games like mickey mania, a bug's life and toy story 2 or rascal, i like their music
Toy Story 2’s Bombs Away theme (Slime Time on N64) sounds like Mickey Mania’s boss theme.
Hello?

Woody: (Walks up to a Little Green Man and picks him up) Hello!
It's so weird that they were unable to fit this level on PC yet they were able to do so with the console versions.
Especially considering this level was basically the Windows 95 maze screensaver turned videogame.

imagine the sega cd version of the genesis game, and they actually put it!
Or PS1
Or even a Sega Saturn version with clips from the movie, like A Bug's Life on PS1.
I think this song should be in Toy Story 4.
the developers were unable to put the 3d level into the pc version
I honestly never recall this level bing on the pc version. But already loving pc sound tracks from this game 10x more than the snes and sega genesis

"not in the game itself" lol
@yutubaer that must mean....UNUSED MUSIC! Maybe they originally planned this level to be in

I used Freerip to convert the audio-files on the game disc into mp3-files^^
I thought this level wasn't on the PC version.
it doesn't, the title say it "sorey for 12 years later, i had 3 years when you posted it maybe t you are dead already"
