I did 9 attempts prior to watching and was able to get the kc on my 1st try afterwards. Playing defensively and not being greedy for dps was the key. Thank You! :)

Biggest tip i gave my friends was attack npc set right click. Marked 3 tiles. Taught them the axe dodge. Prioritise axe dodge over anything else. Recognise range/mage. Expect these during axes. If you cant do it, at least flick 1. Suffering was a big help because lasted so long along with thrall. Combined they probably did nearly 100 damage each?
agreed, i used suffering on my kill as well and it stacks up big over time. i recommended str bonus since it can help a lot with the most dangerous part of the kill, but realistically either one works as a really good ring

What do you think about switching to Scythe for the final 20% when defences are reduced? Do you think it's worth the DPS increase and potential increased heals with Blood Fury? I imagine it's unlikely we'd die due to running out of food and more likely to get combo'd out by a mistake the longer enrage phase lasts so maybe Scythe?
I’m just getting into bosses going to finish my GG slayer task today/tomorrow I’m really enjoying the gargoyle bosses. I’ll say when torva released I thought it was super ugly but this blood kit thing makes it look so damn nice !
Can you post a paste bin for tile markers? And for the other bosses also have paste bin available? Also, does practicing axe skip on regular Vard benefit awakened? Or are the timings different?
respectfully, there's 4 tiles to mark, i don't see why i have to post a pastebin of that. leviathan will probably have a pastebin though axe skip is the same in regular, skip when the true tile is in front of you

for normal it won't matter as much since you won't take damage on axe spawn, so any corner should work for regular but personally i still use the same corner
At 1170kc (using north west) I immediately saw the merit to the corner you used - the drag during spikes + 2 axes in your corner can get nutty really fast - even in normal mode. gonna use your corner from here out @@HemmiezRS
Great guide. As nooby as it sounds, I wonder if leaving auto retaliate on is worth it? It's useful in those situations where you're focused on axe skipping + flicking and don't have time to prioritise another click to get back on boss. Also, since he runs, he's never gonna pull you out of position, which is one of the main reasons to avoid auto retaliate in the first place.
that is an interesting idea, the only downside i could see is that if you get interrupted during the flinch delay repeatedly it might cost more ticks than not having it on, but really if you play super tight on defence it won't matter anyway, so thats an idea that could definitely be worth testing
@@HemmiezRS I've been testing it a little bit. Having auto retaliate on during the OSU pattern attack means your character will start attacking during it. I think it's because him pulling up the screen is coded as an attack so you retaliate from it lol.
@@Zxv975 LMFAO osu patterns a pretty good way to put it, you can start hitting it by spam clicking it right before it pops up too iirc but that's a much easier way to do it it sounds like
very possible, at the time of writing the script u still couldnt use monster examine on the bosses defences, so i took the safe bet and just put ultor since it gives korasi hella max hits for enrage, but bellator could be better for sure if someone dps calcs it
definitely doable, but gonna be way harder. i'd argue the gear doesnt matter as much, but having 85 att and 95 str is gonna make your fight so much longer, especially given that you're using the fang which by default will make really lucky kills (in terms of dps) very rare. odds are you're gonna be in the fight for a very long time. personally would suggest waiting on getting the kill, but if u do try for it, just fang spec instead of dds

Just got my awakened vartd kill today after 158 orbs. Even after watching this guide my nerves worked against me for enraged phase.

Do you think this is manageable in a non max setup? Bandos chest, verca skirt, fang, serp, fire cape, d def, prims, dds spec, 85/95/85 with 99hp
