Thank you very much for your review mate! I really like your videos, you're always honest and genuine with everything you specify. Very much appreciated 🏹
Great video Ray, I just want to say thanks AND your new beard style looks great on you, both the beard and mustache. You did great on your yeard challenge and with your videos and encouragement, I'm working on 9 months. Keep the videos coming sir - Bill
Me too. I am a little nervous about whether I am up to it physically. I last did this ride 20 years ago. But hey, if I do collapse with exhaustion, at least I will smell nice :o)
Excellent review, and I think I'm the first comment to the post! You have always been entertaining, but you are also very informative. I like how you always seem to come up with new ways of helping us to understand how the product will work for us (e.g. the scent of the mustache wax being right under your nose so you better like the smell). Questions, is this a UK product only, or is it available everywhere in the USA as well? Just a note on your new beard, it does look very sharp, but I'm still going for the look of your Day 141 beard. From Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, I wish you the absolute best.
Hi Warren. You are certainly quick off the mark :o). RHBC are currently posting only to Europe, but the owner has assured me that they do have plans to include the US. It might be worth your contacting them yourself to see if that is happening soon. It was tricky knowing where to go after 1 year, and inevitably some like what I did and others feel let down. As we used to say in the Navy, "That's life in a blue suit". But I am certainly pleased with this. Best wishes, Ray
Ray, Now that you have an epic mustache, could you put a video together on how you dry and apply your mustache wax and overall care for it? Much appreciated, thank you sir.
I can give it a shot Bill, if that would help. At present, I am re-formulating my routine for the new beard length. But I can certainly share that if anyone would be interested.
Interesting question. Am I being analysed :o) Yes, I collect American mechanical (railroad) pocket watches. Waltham, Elgin, Illinois, etc. I also have quite a collection of early musical instruments, but I do actually play all of these, and mostly get paid for doing it! But I love them just the same. Please let me know your conclusions :o)
John johnson I started growing out both beard and moustache in February 2017. Not entirely from clean shaven, but not far off. I am still trying to get the moustache centre to grow out.
Hi Michael. Looking at the video, I seem to have an attempt at a handlebar/epic moustache with as neat a beard underneath as I could manage. The moustache would probably have been waxed to get that amount of hold. Spiking gel is as far as I will go here. Beard styling balm might do this for a short while, but it doesn't have the hold to keep my particular moustache in a handlebar for very long. The main beard was almost certainly using the styling balm I was reviewing. Both beard and moustache would have been washed with conditioner, and then blow-dried. I would say that blow drying is the number 1 aid in styling. I used to use a small round brush for the moustache, but now just blow dry and shape with my hands. Use the thumb and second finger to roll the moustache under after shaping the points the way you want the to go, and fixing with a cool shot from the dryer. I still use the round brush for styling the beard, pulling it straight and curling it under. Have the beard soaking wet to begin with. I like this guy's method of moustache styling. Have a look and see what you think: ua-cam.com/video/NNB7HSwfA50/v-deo.html
Definitely something to bear in mind. I guess it may depend on your age and skin type. I haven't experienced any facial problems with any of the products I have tried. In fact I still look just as ugly as I did before :o)

David, you are very welcome. Did you notice the 'Robin Hood Arrow' sound effect?

Cheers Bill. Much appreciated.
I like your reviews. I think more beard care companies should send you stuff to review. They're really missing out.
Thanks Steve. I hope they are reading this :o)
Thank you for another thoughtful post. And I hope you enjoy your bike ride!

Agree with others, a great review 👍🏻
Thanks Phil.

Wonderful, thank you Ray. I will look forward to your videos.
May I ask, do you collect anything?
Interesting question. Am I being analysed :o)

How long did it take you to grow such a cool mustache

Good review.
Cheers Theo. Wow, your beard is really blossoming out!
Earl Greybeard thank you, almost 7 months. Haven’t been to a barber, thinking about going at the 9 month mark
How do you get your beard like that?
You have a Robin Hood tash with a beard.
I can’t seem to shape it that way.

Avoid anything with coconut oil in on your face! one if the worst things for blocking pores.
