I'm now at 56. Back then, my room was filled with CH posters. Had a haircut ala-CH, and went to disco with eyeglasses in my pocket so that, for sure then, it came in handy when the song played. Nothing much changed then and now. Big CH fan here, from Manila, Philippines.
How the heck is this dude not old as yet? Only difference between now and when I first started listening to his albums is he grew a beard and those tats. He's still awesome.
Love CoryHart. His family grew up next door to me in TMR. I went to school with his brother Steve. His sister was a beautiful figure skater. He always loved music and perused his love. Very creative guy.
If you ever needed more proof that life aint fair! This guy. Pushing 60 looking better then most 30 year olds and his voice is almost just as good as when he was 20. Man!! Full on jelly
@@richbennett2639 I'm 54 and feel like 35. Well except for last year when I had that heart attack. And was in a coma for 10 days. But it was a nice trip to VGH.
he saved my life many times as i walked the highways and city streets with nowhere to go and i thought that no one cared about me.....rememember to never surrender.
Wow. Just, WOW. This gave me MAJOR butterflies!!! I saw him perform as the opening act for Rick Springfield as a freshman in high school in Dallas, TX in November of 1984 at Reunion Arena. Our parents got me and my friends 2nd row tickets, and I won't EVER forget it!! I am amazed at how well he performs some 35 years later. It really took me back.

I will never forget my first concert ever: Corey Hart in Kamloops BC in 1986. This brought a huge smile to my face! Still rockin it after all these years!
He was my first true love. I am so proud of him. I used to go searching through used record stores for his albums. I had a whole wall of posters of him in my apartment in my 20s. He was my soul mate and I wrote him so many letters I never sent. He saved my life.
He makes me proud to be born in 1962. Aging gracefully. Loved his music from the very first note I heard. Being a dedicated family man he is, is a sherry on top to his wonderful life. What a blessing to be him. 🙏
Never Surrender: that song back then moved me. Here it is 2022, its moving me still. No one can take away your right to fight and never surrender . Are you listening Babylon?
I'm so proud of you Corey. Meeting you in '87 is still the highlight of my life. I am so happy for you and all your successes. You have a beautiful, loving family. Bless you all!
I'm going to be honest. My wife is a huuuge fan of Corey Hart but to me he made my ears bleed. I listened to this and showed my wife look my ears aren't bleeding. He got way better as he got older. I can actually listen to him
I cant believe I lost my glasses at his concert in Edmonton well my prescription glasses at his concert what an awesome concert I'll never regret seeing him there thank you corey hart for a memorable evening 💙😎😇
Thirty-seven (37) years ago (1983)... wow! I remember seeing the "Sunglasses At Night" video on MTV for the first time, thinking, how the heck did they get Richard Gere to look so young again lol Well, two great hits of the 80's there, Mr. Corey Hart!
Bravo Corey Hart....Amazing song. One of my favorite songs..You still look good.Keep it up Your the best.A lot more success. We miss you.Come back soon to Montreal 💯👏🙏❤
Truly talented people age the right way. I think this guy knew how to be so clever that he made just about anyone including himself laugh every so often for many years!
"So if you're lost and on your own, you can never surrender. And if your path won't lead you home, you can never surrender. And when the night is cold and dark, you can see you can see light. Cause no one can take away your right to fight and to never surrender..."
A lot of roads traveled since his first offense ! His first album and his sexy look, I recall, drove all the ladies nuts ! Just for that, I tried to resist falling for his music and immediate stardomship. But his first album was packed with great songs - " Lamp at Midnight" and "The World is Fire" being my favs among other great ones - , I had to recognize his immense talent. From there, he managed to always renew himself and his sound, and come up with interesting material. A unique voice, a unique kindness, a unique .. Montrealer ! 😎
Great show of adaptability to play and sing in different styles and touch so many variations of fans is a testament to the artist and the reason why they inducted him into the industry memorable performers. Ty Corey for the contributions to the #soundtracktomylifeozibattler

Ok better late than never. Love you Canada ❤
Corey Hart and Darryl Hall are my absolute favorites in the 80s!
Daryl is one cool cat. Hard act to follow. Corey is not in his league vocally, but he does have swag!
I love that everyone (young and old) brought their sunglasses to wear at night
The whole audience has sunglasses on that's awesome
Finally he sings live🎉🎉🎉

Hello there
Favorite 80s artist, and he's still making great music. Love the added lyrics to Never Surrender, too.
Prove that 80s artists and bands can top today's artists and bands

Cory Hart did not surrender to age…..he looks even more handsome than he did in 1984!

Never Surrender and Sunglasses at Night were the soundtrack to my jr high years in the mid 80's great times.
Saw him at Six Flags Over Georgia in ‘86. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Electric.
