Per attack, the defender can earn up to three points. They alternate defending. The attacker can not earn points, they can only mess up and be deducted or cause the defender to mess up, meaning the defender gets deducted. It's been a while since I practiced Nanduo, but those are the rules as far as I can remember.
To those guys that don’t understand what’s going on, it’s a codified fight, where there is a set aggressor and defender, the aggressor must follow a specific order of attacking moves while the defender chooses a defence and counterattack for that attack, the aggressor chooses when to strike, points are based on effectiveness of defence and counterattack. It’s not a true Kumite and isn’t meant to be, it’s light touch sparring to improve technique
I don't understand this... is it supposed to be taking turns? how do you determine the winner? doesnt seem to make sense really..
