Hey man awesome video! Have you done the wiring yet? If so did you go oem wiring or like curt brand wiring. If so how did you do the 4 pin end. Did it fit into the hitch bracket or just hanging?
I got it from BAM Wholesale Parts and it seemed to be pretty legit. Someone in the Compass group said that their kit included them so maybe they were just forgotten in mine 🤷🏻♂️
@@LucidAutowerks that's what I meant by the person working at the factory putting the components in the box made the mistake. Most likely weren't a car person. Just a factory worker.
Makes me want to do this with my High Altitude trim Compass I have! Installing it doesn’t seem that hard to do, great video you did!
Thanks! As long as you learn from my mistakes and don’t go all gung-ho with the cutting it should be a pretty easy install.
LMAO...Looked like Frankenstein's Bumper for a while there!
😂😂😂
The kit is designed to be used with a new bumper with factory made cutout.
The bumper is made with a cutout line. That’s the same way the dealer does it if they don’t order one that’s been cut out.
Thanks for the video. It made me 100% sure I did not want to tackle this. I’ll bite the bullet and let the dealer do it.
Glad I could help, even if it was at my own expense 😆

I haven’t yet. I’ll probably make another video when I do.
Can't believe that factory part didn't come with those side clips. My guess is whoever was building up those kits didn't include the clips.
