Before i got home from a first date, guy called my home & told my mom he was gonna marry me! When i walked in , my mom was grinning & asked how the date went. Long story short, after a year he ask me to marry him, i said no, wasn’t ready. Said he won’t ask me again, I would have to ask him. Didn’t go out for a year but he called me every night without fail. We talked like good friends. After that year, i hired a plane to fly over a concert with banner “Billy will you marry me”. He said yes . Married for 30 yrs so far. Having a wonderful life with 2 children.

As a 25 year old guy who's never had a GF or anything close in that area, if I heard a girl say that I'd probably have hung up and cried. I wouldn't even want to jump in after that. Probably wouldn't even try to date after that. That's absolutely soul crushing

This is my first time listening to this podcast and I enjoyed it. But I think the guy in the background laughing like the chick from Ridiculousness is unnecessary. If you’re not going to participate in the conversations, then you should be muted. Don’t need to be hearing you laugh like Woody Woodpecker while the people are trying to talk to each other.
