For those just seeing this over a year later, I just discovered how to make tiny window frames in different colors without having to paint. In set #2 there are two pairs of square 4-pane windows. I die cut them separately in cardstock or decorative paper, trim the cutouts along the barely visible embossed outlines and ta-da! You have a perfect window to glue over the window you put in you house. Really makes it pop too. The small circle dies also work with the round window in Set #1. Painting them wasn’t an option for me since I glue colored vellum inside the windows/doors before I assemble the house. (Vellum or tracing paper colored with Sharpies or alcohol markers in warm golden yellow)

FYI use the smallest of the two squares from Set#2 when you cut the roof to make an opening for a chimney👍🏼

Watch Tim's videos. You don't have to use an exacto knife to put a square into roof for chimney. You place one of those tiny square dies on roof to cut and then chimney sits into it.

Go to Dollar Tree and in their craft section they have a set of 2 pink paper piercers that I use to help take the scor-tape off. Great Video !!!

This tutorial was just what I needed before I start making these little houses. Did you get your score tape from Amazon? Does it measure 1/16th of an inch? The little village you created is lovely. I think bottle brush trees would look nice on the back. Thanks again….learned so much.

Great video just purchased the second die set and also have the first one didn't think of using the patterned paper. Have to try that really looks cute. Question do you suffer from allergies? Sounded like it in your video.

Is the Village collection (665564) made up of these two sets or are they completely different? Thank you.

Village Collection is completely separate. The houses are bigger than those in the Paper Village.
