Why does the GS-X always load the 7 and 10 pins? When I see it come down to feel for pins, I see that only the 7 and 10 pins are loaded. Is it to make it faster or more effecient?
They have some of these Brunswick pinsetter in elkhorn nebraska. 40 lanes I think reply and tell me if I am right I haven't been there for a while So I may be wrong but it is named the mark. Edit:last time I was about to go inside but the place was closed because of a private event.
Yes, they are super loud. When they installed them in this center, they had to build an insulated wall in front behind the masking units to turn the noise down.
I’ve bowled on AMF’s and they’re crap while the Brunswick GS-92’s are decent. The one thing I hate AMF is when a Pin Jam occured, its SO ANNOYING to hear that, it hurts my ears and also other thing I’ve seen like Interlocks, Table Jams and faulty spotting fingers to make things worse unlike Brunswick GS is just Blackouts, not a problem to me.
They all work roughly the same way. They have either a wheel or vertical elevator - AMFs new edge uses the same wheel as the A2s had. A pit with a carpet. A sweep wagon with a photocell. A table with pin cups. This day and age, you could do something different without all that clunkety clunkedy clunk going on but just the same old iron.
Well, you are right in that the bowling industry could modernise a lot. AMF uses a completely new mechanic for moving the pins up. It's actually a chain that's kind of put in a wheel shape. The A2 used a pure metal wheel. I actually really love the klonk klonk sounds! Anyways, I think the reason is that you couldn't have a mechanic in a bowling center fixing all robots, because it would require serious education. Well, well. Maybe one day in the future.
I don't know if such a robot would last 50+ years like the current machines do. However, I think that if bowling was a more popular sport, there would be much more engineering put into it. At the moment, there's really not a big need of a better machine. :/
Pretty nice shots of the Brunswick gsx pinsetter!
fun fact: I just went bowling yesterday with Brunswick gsx pinsetters too!
My hometown bowling alley, The Alley, has Brunswick GSX Pinsetters from 2009.
+James c Cool! :)
Nice! You’re pretty good at bowling.
Thanks! This was very long ago though. I am a bit better now. Doesn't hit the left side as much. :P
ThinkCleverAndSmart you should take a video on how well you bowl now.
I'll see. I don't bowl as often due to school, but I'll think about it next time. :)
Dude there's a chance after Christmas that I might get to bowl on a GS-X! Just a heads up if it happens! ;)
:D
i wish always want to go bowling
Nice!
You know that guy playing on lane 12 is me! Thanks!
Why does the GS-X always load the 7 and 10 pins? When I see it come down to feel for pins, I see that only the 7 and 10 pins are loaded. Is it to make it faster or more effecient?
Yes exactly. Those can double load (which is actually a triple load) and will drop when they can :)
Wait lane 11 also has a light?

Lane 10 is funny 😂 the pins is yellow
One more thing everylane has a light on top
Why is there no 12 on the masking unit ?
When they ordered the numbers, number 1 and 2 were on low stock so they ran out when they came to lane 12 lol
@@ThinkCleverAndSmart they could've at least print those numbers out or write on a paper and tape it to the masking unit lol
@@PinoyBowlerGS92 Yeah lol, but it only took a few more weeks until they got their correct numbers installed
and with crown pin !
WOW, u are good
:D
Is that Brunswick GS-X?
Yes it is. It has some advertisements on the sweep that covers the logo. :)
+ThinkCleverAndSmart That was www.sodersdumper.se
Stephen Hill Lol, it's an ad for a company which transports gravel and rocks. :P
So youre from Sweeden
That’s correct
Is that you play
Yes :)
@@ThinkCleverAndSmart are you playing the last lane with the red light on top?
GSX pinsetters are loud, it sounds like a car crash when you miss
Yes, they are super loud. When they installed them in this center, they had to build an insulated wall in front behind the masking units to turn the noise down.
@@ThinkCleverAndSmartoh wow
Show us the cool bowling cartoons please?
How? I think I do not understand... Can you give me an example?
When u get a strike or a spare it shows a cartoon on the scoring
Haha! That would be fun! I can try next time when I go bowling! :P
ThinkCleverAndSmart ok
Jesse Brunswick GS-X
Brunswick GS-X
Not that 1 second matters...but slower than AMF!
Yes it is! But it’s also more reliable :)

A 25 year old pinsetter based on a 55 year old pinsetter. Stop it Brunswick. With these new pinsetters you are spoiling us.
Which is that 55 year old pinsetter you are referring to? I don't believe you mean the A or A2 since they are very different in almost every way. :P
They all work roughly the same way. They have either a wheel or vertical elevator - AMFs new edge uses the same wheel as the A2s had. A pit with a carpet. A sweep wagon with a photocell. I dunno. I just think so little has changed since the first pinsetter that its taking the p*** at this point.

Wasted motion having the machine come down and feel for pins after the second ball. Use the scoring system to tell pin count.
There are no scoring cameras here, so this is the only way to tell score. Also it's much more reliable than scoring cameras. :)
These machines need a pinwheel instead of the elevator. Too slow in loading the machine. A-2 is the way to go! Will last forever!
