This apocalyptic setting is the true and first story of the Legend of Aang. Atla wasn't supposed to be an elemental bending universe. Aang was supposed to be trapped for a thousand years with his robotic Momo. When he came out, the whole world is on the Apocalyptic settings just like this one.
I had actually read that The biggest and craziest change is that "the four nations do not exist anymore" in this sequel series due to "some unknown cataclysmic event" that is stopped by Avatar Korra. Somehow, as a result, she will be forced to reshape the world into seven new "havens," which could be the subtitle for the series. As for the new Avatar herself which is the twin sister of puffy, she will be an earthbender and not the twin avatar. The twins will supposedly "be the focal point of the series," with one raised by the White Lotus in a life of luxury while the other, presumably the true Avatar, as a street orphan with her animal companion. It was also said that it will be similar to those seen in the Chronicles of the Avatar novel series. Specifically, the ones focused on Avatar Kyoshi and Roku.

I like the sound of it all. I just can’t wait to get to watch it. The different direction is interesting and honestly I feel like it should be that way with the series. Always changing not the same linear concept or whatever. I’m excited for it. I’m a diehard fan of the series 😩
Actually from a writing point of view this is a really cool and nice concept, it’s unexpected but intriguing, a lot of questions and also a lot of opportunities to write incredible emotional arcs similar to the quality of atla, I’m slowly realizing that everyone hates a new idea because “ it will never be ATLA” yes ofc nothing will be atla, that’s why they’re not trying to make it similar to atla , that’s the whole point, that’s how you can successfully expand on a world building, the ONLY issue I have is I hope it doesn’t feel like an anime, I’ve always liked that avatar had its own vibe and carved up a space for itself in the animation industry , I hope they keep that , cuz I think they started to lose that in season 4 of korra
100% agree. This is taking a very different route than what everyone was expecting for this show. They aren't taking the safe route it, instead doing something unexpected like you said.
I also got 2 packaging of Ben Tennyson. One is the figure it comes with, and the other is the chase variant figure and that is Heatblast. Now, the only Ben 10 funko for me to get next is Swampfire from Alien Force. Which I think I got it coming in. Don't get me wrong, I could have Ben 10 funkos like you
I’m not shocked by the unwarranted backlash surrounding this leak. Several UA-camrs are expressing discontent about the new character replacing Timmy in the recent Fairly Odd Parents. However, it’s important to note that this is intended as a sequel to the original series, and this revival has successfully addressed the issues present in the later seasons. Honestly, it’s frustrating to hear the announcement without someone launching into a silly rant about a trivial detail.
So correct me if im wrong but can't the 2nd avatar just be a incarnation of vatu or did he get destroyed (he cant be destroyed i know 10.000 years of light and hell be back i remember that part) when he fought korra???

@@NewCovenantOfChrist it can work both ways. He can be gone for 10 000 years, but he can also return again if he gets enpowered with some serious dark magic, just like Raava was reformed thanks to Jinora's light. It's gonna be however the writers decide, but it think both scenarios make sense
Having twin avatars could be good depending on how the writing and story goes. We could see them battle each other similar to Korra vs Unalaq. Or they could be too OP as a team. I think the apocalyptic setting gives some creative story plots

I REALLY don't like the post apocalypse idea and the destruction of the four nations.

He's not destroyed and he'll eventually be reborn. It's very likely that the second avatar is the dark avatar
