I'm enjoying your videos so much!! I'm JUST getting into wax stamping and I'm wondering about what the best candle is to use for melting the wax... Tea lights don't last very long!
Oh I’m so glad you’re enjoying them! I typically use a half-burned jar candle. That way the flame isn’t touching the spoon and it doesn’t burn out quickly ☺️ Happy Stamping!
This was a great tutorial. I will probably do option 2 for my own invitations. For the third (sticker) option, if you have a circle punch or a Cricut, you could probably use regular paper opposed to the sticker back. I think it would stick better. Just a thought. Thanks for the tutorial!
i know Im asking randomly but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost my login password. I love any assistance you can give me
@Avery Kabir thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Love this! I'm doing stamps for my wedding invites as well and so can't wait to try this. Question though, if I do this and place a wax seal on the belly band, will it make my invites too bulky if I then again seal the envelope with another wax seal?
I don’t recommend doing both, honestly. You risk having your invitation being categorized as a “parcel” rather than an “envelope”, which is significantly more expensive. I have more details about mailing with wax seals here: m.ua-cam.com/video/uZjkwfCTjjI/v-deo.html
Does anyone have a tip for mailing these in the US mail so that they don't leave an impression on the other envelope? I have asked for hand cancelling, but it seems the PO is too busy these days to offer that service.
Hi Susan! I definitely recommend hand canceling! It’s a service you typically have to pay for with a special stamp, OR you can offer to hand cancel it yourself. My main post office requires me to use their little stamper to cancel the postage stamps so that they just have to sort them. I have more tips for mailing with wax seals here: m.ua-cam.com/video/uZjkwfCTjjI/v-deo.html
Let me know if you have any other or specific Qs! I might be able to offer more ideas. The USPS can be a little temperamental so if you run into trouble, sometimes the best/easiest thing to do is to go to the post office in the next town or zip code 💕
Wow this is really helpful! I am gonna try with ribbons. Thanks to you
It’s tricky but so fun! You’ll love it
Very helpful tutorial! Thank you

C'est vraiment ravissant, j'adore ! Bonjour de Normandie ;-)
Wax seals brought me here, so I decided to sub and stay!
Oh thank you! Hope you enjoy the other wax seal videos! I try to have a new one every few months ☺️
Great video! How many inches of ribbon per invitation did you use?
I estimate 17 inches per suite, though each style varies a little

Great tip! I don’t have a Cricut, so I didn’t even think of that

Oh I’m so glad this was helpful!! 🥰🥰🥰
i have seen artisaire pages.. they have nice designs..
They do! I am always tempted when I see their new designs 😅
Do you prefer the messier finish with the organic edge or the more perfected look of the premade seals?
I love😍❤️💟 all the things you do...
Love from Shreya 😘 😍💞...

This video was so helpful! Do you by chance remember the width of the ribbon you used for the second invitation? Thank you😊
0.75”! Beautiful ribbon by Artisaire.com
Thanks for the tutorial! If I was using twine would I be able to use these same steps?
Yes! Twine would actually be easier than the thicker ribbon ☺️
@@katrinacrouch thank you!
I love❤😍😘💟all and everything you do..
Love Shreya 😘 😍💞💟...
Oh, thank you, Shreya!! That encourages me so much! 🥰🥰🥰

That being said… you CAN do both-it just costs more or will require more care ☺️
how do i get one of those spoons?
This is mine: bit.ly/3u7l9NG
What was the string used in the final invitation?
Embroidery thread! Super affordable and a ton of color options! I love using this for my brides ☺️
@@katrinacrouch Can you still use the traditional wax with the thread or do you only recommend the adhesive kind?
You can use any of the methods I showcase in this video with the embroidery thread
Wow !!!
So glad you love it!
use silicone paper, basically the paper that you peel off any sticker, i found it works better
Great tip!
Where do you get your wax from?
Mostly from Artisaire.com, some of my collection is from Stamptitude
