Awesome video! I enjoy watching your videos, even the ones that aren't relevant to my equipment, because there's always something to take away from them!
Thank you for posting these videos. We have 5 Fryers with the Siemens control. How about a video about making custom tool files. Like a concave radius tool. We program them like a endmill with an od that matches the minor dia of the tool. Id like to be able to see the radius being cut in simulation. Also is there a way i can call up a tool by turret location # when posting gcode.
hello Chris. Currently we don't support custom tools in the library. If we introduce it in the future I will be sure to let you know. regarding the tool change question is this a mill or a lathe?
@@MrCNC it is a fryer MB 10 bed mill. It the screen drop down when first creating a program the is a selection for a tool profile program. What is that used for?
@@What-is-thehandle i'm not sure. exactly where is this located in the software? Regarding the tool change the Fryer Mills are setup to only change on tool name. It is possible to setup a umbrella tool changer for tool change from pocket locations but it would require adjusting machine parameters. To my knowledge Fryer has never setup this functionality. It common on Drill / Tap machines with a drum style turret.

Welcome
Thanks. Please, send me the machine archive from your video in *.arc format (CTRL+ALT+C) so that I can simulate what you showed on SinuTrain.
AGU 90 setting very good and system backup. Then dial settings is very good👍
Thank you
Thank you for nice video. I don't understand where the number 7.0838, which was recorded in the first Z-axis offset, came from?
This is from gauge line of the spindle to the center of rotation of the right angle head.
Thank you for nice video. Where i could find the document as you mention on this video?
send me a email Dan.strubel@siemens.com
Interesting but what is the purpose at the extreme cost of the Kaiser heads if you need multiple of them then why mot buy a 5 axis machine?
in my case the machine was 50k and the head was 10k. would be tough to buy a 5x for much less than 100k. also a good application for a tool room.
