i'm not sure what all the discussion is about on this vid , i've been watching them grow from the day of the 1st release , im pretty sure they all have influences from other bands we all do , in my view of Anavae is like every song they release is a time marker in the creation of a very open minded table of thoughts used as they find their way to what they will in time evolve into , what i'm trying to say is there is a possibility this band can go many different ways in music as time goes by , I can't compare becca to any other vocalist out there , she simply stands on her own , she always has , i'm very careful not to judge a band for what they do as they are people just like me and you ,And take's a enormous amount of patience and time to create , i enjoy what they have to offer us and the hard work they push through every day to get the music to us that most don't understand , Anavae is one of those bands that puts a smile on my face from time to time and thats hard to do . but when it does ,Thats a sign of uniqueness and i know they will be around awhile following their dreams and inspiring musicians all over the world along the way , we all need to enjoy the things we have offered to us today , this is the time and years of Anavae , there isn't going to be another one like them , keep up the great work you guys , be different , be who you are , be Anavae . :-) ,,, founder of RMH .
I'm sorry but listening to them I would have to agree that they sound generic. Its hard to judge though because so many people are making music now that it is hard to not be generic in some way or another. In the end all you can really do is listen to it and if you like it great if not then oh well. I do not think flagging solemn sacrifice as spam was a cool thing to do he was only pointing out what he truly thought and he did say that he liked them and they had potential. Hes not a troll atleas
Also if anyone compares the whole colour fighting thing with paramore aswell - This video came out before Now did... #jusayin - just cause she's a talented singer with a rock tone doesn't mean that she's automatically 'trying to be' Hayley Williams. and anyway this song isn't anything like a paramore song so I don't get what everyone's getting their pants in a twist for :L
They have a somewhat different sound however it's still a blend of bands sounds. One of which is paramore regardless of what any kids on here say. Her voice is quite similar to haley williams. The other band being veda. If you don't know who they are look them up,. Damn good band and all quite nice lads as well and the front woman has some amazing pipes.
I mean is stupid to deny they pretty much sound and look like paramore, that doesnt mean they're not good, cuz paramore is awesome, but they belong to the same music genre so there's no reason to get so mad, and lets face it, this seems like a homemade version of decode and ignorance.... im not trying to be mean i like this band a lot..
yeah i agree with this guy i still cant name an artist that has blended (successfully) the elements of basic rock, metalcore, electronica, and many more specific genres they are unique and the lead singer is verry attractive usually that is what it takes to be famous unless you are like maynard james keenan and never show your face than you dont have to be attractive..

Ok as someone who isnt a fanboy/fangirl or someone who is deaf to musical qualities and characteristics... they sound nothing like paramore other than the fact that the singer is a girl, different singing styles, ranges, and techniques, paramore rarely adds any electronica elements into their songs, guitar is somewhat similiar but different enough to tell just by guitar that they are not the same band song structure is much different than what paramore usually goes for.
Are people really going to complain about someone who has a beautiful voice? She's not copying Paramore, you can tell because she /doesn't try to sing just like her/. Clearly the singing here is different from Hayley's.

Nothing is a bit exagerated. The voices of the singers are very similar. The style of both bands is clearly different but close enough in genre to make the comparison easily made.
