Speeltheater Holland presents Poppentje with 8 Hands

In 2001/2002 we did present a theatrical concert with Poppentje: Poppentje with 8 Hands. The puppet Poppentje is a creation by Roberta Amador. We performed several times in the Royal Concert Hall in Amsterdam with two puppeteers and two pianists in the series Kijken met je oren (Look with your Ears). We decided to make a stage performance later: Poppentje on Tour. Here we follow Poppentje on his way to the concert stage. On this stage we had two grand piano's and a tiny one for Poppentje. His adventures were all the time projected or filmed life on stage. Direction: Saskia Janse. Puppeteers: Leo Petersen en Roberta Amador. Film: Deen van Meer and Saskia Janse (Camera on stage: Ruben Gischler and Johan van der Graaff).
