I've caught plenty of fish on the bass pro shops hellgrammites but never tried the nikko. Heard a lot of good things about them. I'll have to give them a try. I bet those waxworms would be awesome for trout in the delayed harvest sections around here. I catch a lot on a chartreuse power worm early in the year, but as the fish become more pressured, they want something more natural looking.
Exactly what I was thinking on the wax worms! I've laready confirmed bass love them, so I'll be ordering more soon. Probably Also great on panfish and crappie.
It is a Sony A7Riii with the 24-70mm GM 2.8 lens. A bit overkill, but defiitely nice for my "talking head" segments. I'll eventually get a lighter lens and take it on the fishing trips periodically; that GM is a beast of a lens - weighs 2 pounds just by itself!
@@AaronHuntFishing wow!!! Thats crazy and impressive! I can absolutely see the quality in the video from that camera its very noticeable, and also you have a great on camera presence! I still struggle with talking to a camera Everytime! Hahah
The nikko wax worm paired it with the vmc mongo tungsten jig in bfs. Panfish and trout love it. Great video
Thanks. So far I've "only" caught bass on it! But very happy with it - and all the nikko plastics honestly.
Nikko makes some nice plastics. The I have caught some good crappie on the hellgie and I like the tadpole.
I almost got the tadpole too. Maybe next order. :)

love the nikko helgrammite! may I ask what camera you are using? I love the blurry background look and I don't think I can achieve it with a gopro.
