  • Welcome to my channel and thanks for tuning in! In this video, I take you along on my first day back (vlogging) in Da Nang, Vietnam. I first came to Da Nang in 2019, right before the Covid outbreak. I was here for just under a week and really liked the vibe and beach area of Da Nang. From the stunning beaches to the bustling markets, Da Nang is a city full of energy and life, and I can't wait to spend time in Vietnam again. Today, i take a walk on Phuoc Beach front.

"...where everyone is just on the beach behaving like a knob"...Thanks, Wayne, you gave me a good laugh to set me up for the day ! "Grockels" was how tourists were referred to locally where I grew up.
That long empty Da Nang beach looks great ! Will be watching out for more of your Vietnam vlogs. It's good to know that Air Asia obliges with a direct flight from CNX
I think I would probably agree with the comment that Chiang Mai has more to it overall, but agree that Da Nang looks like a very welcome change of air from time to time.
All the best and hope to see more vlogs again from Chiang Mai at some stage ! (Chiang Rai would be interesting as well)

Whenever I am in DaNang I always stay at the north end of the strip, after the traffic lanes narrow down to 2 lanes. It is much quieter and away from the crowds and construction. Enjoy!!!!! It also makes it easier when I travel north through the Hai Van Pass going to Hue and Phu Bai to visit locations where I spent my formative years during the War.😊😊

Spent 4 days in DaNang and 3 in Hoian, 20 min drive from DaNang in February absolutely loved it. The dragon bridge is a must see on the weekends. I wish Chiang Mai would redevelop the Ping river like DaNang has theirs. Highly recommend as a place to visit.

My favorite part of Da Nang for sure! My hotel was right across the street from the ocean, and it was so cheap I was amazed. But it wasn't easy to find restaurants or food to go around the hotel, which surprised me. When I was there, the hotels were full of Vietnamese on vacation, there were buses everywhere. I could barely even get a piece of toast at the breakfast area of my hotel because there were so many people (middle of April). I went to the war museum you recommended to me and really enjoyed it. Interesting to see it from the Vietnamese point of view. Good luck with all the women!🤣🤩

I agree about the 30 day entry.
We did 10 days in Ho Chi Minh 10 days in Hanoi, and 10 in Da Nang,
30 in each would have gave us a way better feel for each place.

Fantastic and Surprisingly Enjoyable Video! Amazingly Beautiful Beach Whipped by a Warm Onshore Wind. (The hundreds of Cheek by Jowl High-rise Condos and Hotels are a Huge Eyesore on an otherwise pristine part of the world. We humans invariably destroy the very thing we seek. This reminds me of NAPLES, Florida, many years ago compared to Naples Florida now. The blessed isolation of that haven Naples was destroyed by all the riffraff who traveled to Naples in order to escape the riffraff. Just another 10 years of exponential growth will be enough to spell the end of this beach as it is now.) Still, as for today, the Da Nang beach seems one of the best in the world. I recall that Cam Ranh Bay has a beach as well. (I wonder if you will decide to visit Cam Ranh Bay....)

From my experience, most girls on Tinder have been graduates of the Ivy League. It is the men using Tinder that is the real problem. If men who use Tinder were committed to staying celibate before marriage, and to refuse sexual intercourse outside of holy wedlock, then Tinder would quickly become the wholesome app we all would prefer that it were.
