The easiest way is to pour the stock onto ice cube tray and then transfer them onto the bags. Skip the hassle of thawing and able to fit into small sauce pan/pot
I don’t understand when you say to cook for 10 minutes to get rid of any bacteria. Where is the bacteria coming from if you have cooked it for so long?
Hi Ezekiel, the stock is cooled thoroughly before we portion and freeze it. If warm stock is added to bags and then placed in the freezer, there could be a risk of raising your freezer temperature and partially thawing foods surrounding it. Not to mention there's less risk of burning yourself in the process :) Hope this helps!
I make bone broth as an additive to my dog's meals and so I like to freeze a supply of broth in silicon ice cube trays for easy, proportioned servings. Pop out and go.
Nope! Well, if you leave it in the freezer forever so it gets freezer burn, then yes, that could affect the taste, but frozen stock can last for up to 3 months and the taste will be the same.
I don't trust bags like that to lay in the freezer with liquid. And if you don't have space in the first place you have to clear a spot for it to lay flat until it freezes.
The internet says that certain nutrients like glutamate are destroyed easily by heat. I wanted to hear my broth and was confused by the internet. I will heat it for 10 mins, thank you
For food safety reasons I always recommend boiling all previously frozen soups, stocks and broths for 10 minutes before eating, especially those made with animal products like chicken.
Thank you for this confirmation!! I am about to make some homemade veggie broth but definitely the quantity will be too much to eat in one night. I have little storage and was debating the bag idea but this chased my fears of it not working! Thanks again 👌
Hi Wildman Samurai. We use freezer bags because when the food or broth is frozen flat as we suggest, you can store a lot more food in the small freezers of most domestic refrigerators than when you use Tupperware. It takes up a lot of space.

Awesome thanks 👍

When I reheat frozen chicken soup I add a fresh vegetable(s) like zucchini, carrot, corn for flavor.
do mean to put the frozen stock into the water itself or to leave in the bag and defrost it in the bag? thank you
Thank you:) I just had to cook much meat because of a freezer left open and thawed the meat. I hated to throw away all the broth, now I don't have to.
This is a good idea because I don't have enough plastic containers left as I also make and freeze homemade sauce.
Glad we could help!
What temperature was the stock at when placed in the quart sized Ziploc bags? Thanks, -Z

What brand and kind of bags are these?
Are the ziplock freezer bags?
Does freezing the stock affect the flavor of the broth? ❤️ Thank You

should we heat it before consuming or it can be taken straight out of refrigerator.

You should use Tupperware freezing methods.

Cook For Your LIFE I guess each to their own, thanks for the comment and I enjoyed the video.
Thank you!
TERRIBLE!! WHY NO DEMONSTRATION OF DEFROSTING THE STOCK AND COOKING IT??????
