She does not seem to know how to rest. She has shows almost every day. I am excited to see what she will become in the future. Very nice vid btw!

She did ALL kinds of whistle and acrobats at that register. Other artists can only be compared to her through RANGE (for instance Mori can reach whistle and that's a fact), BUT doing other dynamics and vocal acrobatics like melisma and runs in their range? There's only one MARIAH. Plus she can go as deep as the SECOND octave just like she tackles the ENTIRE seventh octave and her vocal coach even said she used to go BEYOND piano.

Morisette is incredibly talented! Low notes I’m afraid she can’t compete with Mariah considering she can support lower than C3. She can compete however on belting and can belt better than Mariah now. Whistle notes Mariah was and still is a lot clearer and resonant- if you can be- in that register. But I give it to morisette, she is best at covering Mariah in my opinion but she needs some individuality

It's better to compare with out the use of microphone and speakers which can have different sound quality. Taking considerations of other factors, Mariah had high level training with high level people around her yet Morissette is almost there on Mariah's level.

When infact, its been so long anyone could face mariah head to head with exception to low notes, morissette put up a good fight from mid belt, upperbelt, falsetto/headvoice, and whistle register. She keeps going up the notes following mariah not too far behind. Low notes, mariah can even go lower down to Eb2, which not many can touch. Although its not consistent and she do lowers her larynx to go this low. Morissette's weakest region if her voice is the low notes. We can barely hear her voice. Overall mariah won, she masters her voice way more than morissette. But she really put up a good fight with mariah, really not too far behind. Shes the closest anyone could ever touch mariah's voice. Good job morissette. I hope she will get an international break and make her own original songs as good as mariah's.
Search for “Pagbigyang Muli” covered by Morissette. It shows better video and audio quality of her low notes. Really nice low notes. Most audio/video taken in the Phillipines are of poor quality plus the noise of the audience make it hard to hear her low notes. Mori always sings live btw.

Mariah runs are out of this world. Resonance and technique are subjective tho. If Mariah had such good technique, she would be singing live still like Lara Fabian does til this day. Morisette is incredibly talented! Low notes I’m afraid she can’t compete with Mariah considering she can support lower than C3. She can compete however on belting and can belt better than Mariah now. Whistle notes Mariah was and still is a lot clearer and resonant- if you can be- in that register. But I give it to morisette, she is best at covering Mariah in my opinion but she needs some individuality

this comment is very smart I completely agree! however this was 4 years ago and Mori was a lot younger then, their gap in low notes is getting smaller, while Mori’s whistles are getting even more dynamic and beautiful! I still give low notes to Mariah, Belt to Mori while whistles still Mariah but Mori isn’t far off and she will undoubtedly be at par with Mariah even perhaps surpass her and its natural as younger generation often improves on previous ones

That's a great technician for you especially singing her vocal challenging songs in 28 years. The only thing she lost is the ease, little bit of stamina and her vocal chords weakeaned as she aged. But her pitch and notes is still there except for the belting registers above F#5.

Only stans will not be able to appreciate this video and will bash the other singer. When infact, its been so long anyone could face mariah head to head with exception to low notes, morissette put up a good fight from mid belt, upperbelt, falsetto/headvoice, and whistle register. She keeps going up the notes following mariah not too far behind. Low notes, mariah can even go lower down to Eb2, which not many can touch. Although its not consistent and she do lowers her larynx to go this low. Morissette's weakest region if her voice is the low notes. We can barely hear her voice. Overall mariah won, she masters her voice way more than morissette. But she really put up a good fight with mariah, really not too far behind. Shes the closest anyone could ever touch mariah's voice. Good job morissette. I hope she will get an international break and make her own original songs as good as mariah's.
