My iPhone 12 mini had the same problem with the screen not responding but an update came out a few days ago that's sorted the problem thank goodness!
I was so annoyed/ scared when that happened! thank god the update helped ☺️💕

well when I charge it over night I don’t have to charge it until next days evening which I think is okay (:

I am very happy with this phone. The battery last about 24 hours (when I charge it in the evening, I don’t have to charge it until the next evening)
