@@RunCamFPV Thanks ! Why don't you put a sunset white/black setting in the app for catching nice sunsets as this seems the cameras only real weak point. And we all love a good sunset !
there’s so ton of jello on the v1. the v2 color doesn’t look as nice (looks like a flat color profile) but that is for color correction/grading. it’s 200% a better camera and it’s 200% the price
I agree about the jello and the colour, however the colour with the original v1 thumb pro with its standard lens is frankly quite dull, the rc18g lens totally changes the colour for the better. As for price, unless things have changed, my new runcam thumb v2 cost the same as the v1 , about £75 , dunno about the 200% cost, if it is well i bought mine at the right time 😊
@@PratapO7O1 i do like that with the thumb pro, personally i think soon as i changed the lens from the runcam standard one to the rc18g wide angle, the colours came out and we're more life like. I've not wanted to hack into my new thumb v2 yet but maybe the rc18g lens would also work with this camera ?
Yeah too true, that body on the pro version is flimsy and doesn't hold the lens secure enough , on a day without wind though it's alright and jello free. The new one has sorted that issue alright 😁
Cheers man 🛸 just the same settings , though there's still a bit a curvature with the stock thumcam pro v1 lens setting in gyro, though as you can see it works alright Think the new v2 has a better gyro in the camera, it's more stable and easier to do a good gyroflow
@@TorontoFPV for me too, i like the field with a better green on the v1 too though it might be white black settings , been out testing the camera again today, overall the v2 is very good, though not perfect yet . The RC18g lens on the v1 helped with the improved colours
@@spaceportseven there's a Short I posted called falling for you. You can see it. It was with the runcam Pro wide. If you shoot with it at golden hour it looks phenomenal. I just found there were too many micro jitters but if it looked like that without the jitters to me, it'd be good enough for professional work
@@TorontoFPV thanks, yeah i see the micro jitters in that, nice video and dive though ! The v2 is similar but without the jitters, totally fluid on this now . Toronto looks amazing man !!
@@spaceportseven thanks bud. If you're ever in Toronto let me know and we'll go fly. Tell me more about yourself? What's your favorite setup? I enjoy interviewing pilots from around the world that are into fpv. Let me know when you're usually free where you live in your time zone Or just figure out the time difference from EST. We can hang out, get to know each other talk about fpv stuff.
That's a kind offer and thanks, Canada seems pretty cool especially compared to the uk , will get back to you on equipment when less busy , cheers man 🛸
Thanks a lot for your support and sharing! ☺Happy flying

pro is more crisp and clear, for thumb 2 it was dull but has better hdr algo as highlights were balanced (ex will be sky)

Great video ! How did you stabilised the footages of the thumb 2 with Gyroflow ? Did you create your own thumb 2 lens profile ?Thanks
