I prefer the food in Singapore over Malaysia and Philippines. This is a good video, plus you made your own version 👍🏼

Thanks for appreciating! And Taste is always subjective. Filipino food is also really good. 😊

    Hello ChefMom..
Singapore authentic Chilli crab don’t put any chicken stocks or vinegar btw.
This is to maintain the natural flavour frm the crabs itself without being too overpowering with other add on ingredients.
I think this is more to ur own version of chilli crabs.😀
ChefMom chilli crabs..thats more like it.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@ChefMomRosebudBenitezYes you did and people are so rude they have to still mention about “authenticity” 🙄 🤦🏻‍♀️. I love all your explanation and story. 👍🏼

@@merika206You should watch other cooking videos if you think questioning the authenticity of a regional dish is rude. Look up Rachel Ray. She gets savaged. Sandra Lee gets roasted, also. These ladies make their own versions of regional cuisines but they completely f--k it up. Imagine if someone makes pancit but use spaghetti noodle instead of bihon.

National dish? I do not think so. Roti prata is a national dish as it is sold everywhere, every neighbourhood. Not crab. This is misleading. Every Singaporean loves to eat prata.
