Hope Trump's VP pick is Tulsi Gabbard! She is very smart and doesn't take crap from anybody. Good foreign policy and will help take care of the border with Trump. Well, in any "crime," the government has to provide proof. As I recall, my passport doesn't say I'm a citizen. The federal government has mandated that states provide "Real ID." That ID is supposed to be proof of citizenship. One state cancelled the license of one poor sap because he was born outside of the US of US parents.
Since citizenship is becoming more important perhaps governments (state and federal) should be a bit more precise on that the elements are right here and now.
It's just that having made "black woman" the dominant criteria for VP, they just picked the closest black woman and disregarded competency or likability.

AT&T was created as a DOD data collection entity.
Well, the present AT&T is actually the old Southwestern Bell. The old AT&T was horribly managed for decades. Toward the end it had a 10 to 1 reverse stock split to keep the shares about the penny stock range and SBC merged with it and picked up the name.
I suspect that the NSA had more "data collection" than all of the olde Bell System together.
However, via Western Electric, the old AT&T was THE largest DOD contractor for a time. It was the prime on the anti-aircraft and anti-missile systems (to include the radars) that "protected" the US from a sneak attack from the USSR. These also had other DOD contracts. The management systematically exited defense work and was all but done when RR was elected and greatly increase DoD spending on new systems.

I wish Scott would put the debt discussion in perspective. Imagine a family making $100,000 per year applying for a $150,000 mortgage. As a former banker, Scott would have made that loan in a minute. The U.S. debt to GDP ratio isn’t even up to 1.5 yet, and the government has the power to both print money and raise taxes, unlike the family applying for the home loan.
Of course I would like to see the government bring spending closer in line with revenue. However, we are nowhere near a dire situation. Scott must have known this at some point in his life as a banker with an MBA. Either he thinks his audience is dumb and is pandering to them, or the pot has rotted his brain.

Adams view of how bad Biden is becomes problematic when you consider that in 2020 Adams said Biden was a walking cadaver who had zero chance of beating trump. The cadaver not only beat trump, won 2 out of three debates against him and ran a far more successful presidency.
