I have made another short video, part 2 of the M9 introductory videos, which has some impressions from the road (actually a trail mostly). Herre's the link: ua-cam.com/video/nO8H2MqE1jI/v-deo.html There will be more to come in March and April, so stay tuned.
Thank you for taking the time to show us, Josef. A very attractive machine! I love the access holes, that will make working on things so much easier, but I wonder how long before curious young minds start picking at the sides, realise that they "COME OFF MUMMY!" and off they go! Thank you for featuring this Gary. I want to watch the velo report, but I haven't had the time yet 😞
Thanks for your thoughts on this, Con! The full webcast is worth watching for completeness and the discussion but it does require a significant time commitment😊
I want to thank you for this video, I have a DFXL, I have wide shoulders that make riding very cramped. You put the two velomobiles together and I can see the big difference in width so I ordered an M9, thanks again for your help.
Daniel Fenn has been fast & furious lately! The M9 looks really high end, streamlined and well made velomobile, even in the cockpit. I appreciate the clean look of the joints with the carbon parts. And the bridge looks very bulky and stiff, progression going on 👍 My only complaints are clearly nit picking: Ground clearance. I'm in trouble even with my DF, so... I like the more "difficult" opening of the hatch lid with screws, keeps curious hands away from the nose of the velo if I have to leave it standing alone. And this one concerns all the modern velomobiles: It might be just me, but I don't care for the miniature Kellermann lights, even though they are bright and multi functional. I'd love to see something more stylish back there, an integrated rear light now that the designing and molding has become easier. Thanks for the comparison and report, eagerly wait for your new riding clips and thoughts of M9 when you build up some km's with it 🙂
I agree about the lights. Henning Tesch at Velomobile Ottersburg installs some seriously cool and very visible LED strips in his Special Edition velos. I am sure he would jump at the chance to work his magic on a M9.

Congratulations to your new Velomobile Jupp! Thanks for the demonstration.
Thanks Josef! What could you tell us about the difference in ground clearance between the M9 and the DF XL?
Very well done, and informative video. Thank you. I would love to see your walk around of a Milan SL vs GT and QV.

nice looking velo for sure, when are the improvements in velo design coming out of australia going to start appearing in europe if ever?
Can the M9 hood be stored behind the seat?
Has someone tested mirrors how well they perform in aerodynamics?
It's starting like Jay Leno's Garage! xD
Muito bonito os dois, parabéns, um sonho de consumo, que não vem para o Brasil, uma pena, se viesse ,os impostos deixaram muito caro .
holes on the back function as air-inlets, not outlets 😁
Hi, your M9 is a beauty! What’s the colour??
The color is a steel blue metallic by Volvo over a metallic white by Volkswagen.
Could I fit the M9? I AM 5 FT 5 Inches tall.
Your English is perfect, quite different from other Germans.
ICE
This thing looks ugly and heavy. Aerodynamically it seems a step back.
