Jungkook’s solo part was the highlight for me😭. His intro was so powerful. He sets up the mood for the song so well. His pronunciation was so good almost like a native speaker. His high note and adlibs at the end were insane too. He was feeling the vibe of the song. He completely smashed this concept🔥. I loved the song so much🥰.

As much as people are entitled to their own opinion, I think dissecting this song bit by bit takes away from the purpose of this song - to uplift people and maintain positive vibes and have fun with it... They deserve so much praise for releasing an all English song considering only 1 member fluently speaks English and also being a disco retro song, when you listen to retro disco type songs like Bee Gees as an example their voices tend be high-pitched at most parts and I think that's the sound they were going for in specific parts that's why there was alot of auto tune because they don't naturally sound like that... having the rawness in some of their voices I personally don't think would've suited this particular style of music. The song didn't grab me at the start to be honest but as I listened to it more and more I just found myself smiling non stop and uncontrollably dancing to simply put it - it made me feel good, that's what their goal was and they definitely delivered

There are many 80s funk inspired autotuned roboty vocals on background vocal. This Vocal processing is intentionally, to make the song more funky.
i know, but the last album was heavy when it comes to autotune. on this song i understand the use of it, but in map of the soul: persona, i don't.
Walace Ávila Only title songs had excessive autotunes tho. Bsides were didn’t have much autotunes or even no autotune. Or like how they used it on rappers in dionysus to make vocal tone like getting drunk in wine in some parts. But I can understand, autotunes on title songs can be little irritating.

Last chorus was Key Change. Maybe 2 semitones i don't really know lol. And also 80s Funk styled roboty autotuned vocal on background vocal is so cool!! It is repetitive on paper but it never feels repetitive. It is way different than BWl and MV was pretty cool I loved it overall. Bts always makes me surprise!
I agree I would have liked it with less auto tune..Honestly auto tune doesn’t bother me when they use it but I just noticed it a little more.And they did it on purpose of course bc the song is suppose to be funky..But with that being said even though I would have liked it a little more with less auto tune I still love the song..I love how they can do every style of Music..💜💜
Yeah, that autotune is intentionally put in there to make song more funky. Even in backgrounds there are like fully autotuned roboty vocals, it is more inspired from 80s funk and disco style. That kind of vocal is in Pied piper too but just in “I am taking over” if you listen carefully

Walace Ávila I don’t think it had that much of autotune. Expect title songs and dionysus and respect, they were intentionally autotuned kinda irritating. But it made interesting tones. Other Bsides didn’t have much autotune. Even when they do, they does it seemingly unnoticeable. I can understand if it bothered you:))

Jungkook intro (less auto tune) set the mood on fire, his english pronunciation is so good, his high note and adlibs was definitely made the song perfect. And his visual duhh he looks so handsome. Jungkook really shine in this song.

And for listening I'm training with videos like Aaron's, good speaking and entertaining. I would like to learn Korean. 😍

I think the point of BTS is...the world is in huge chaos and they just want us all to have FUN. A little blast from the past, a bit of recall of how the good times were, when we all appreciated Music as a whole. I think BTS heal us on pandemic. Dynamite not hard to understand, not complected theory, just happy that what i need on my life now T T. The short of each member separate in early MV started mean we on quarantine time, stay home, keep distancing from friends, family or errthing. That's make me so sad. I was starting to lose interest in them since their previous songs haven't really interested me but Dynamite got me hooked. This song is just so refreshing and upbeat. The vibes literally suit them perfectly.

I recommend you to give them a second chance and listen to the side tracks on the album when the title song doesn't suit your taste. Their album is very diverse in terms of variety of genres and you'll definitely find something that you'll like.

bts always try to give us something different and didn't stick to the same concept. they also said this song wasn't in their plan at all, but they take it as a challenge to try something new.
Kinda agree with you on the autotune and the voice layering. I prefer their natural voice tone but i understand that sometimes the producer want to achieve certain styles. Overall the song is real catchy and to be honest the chorus part keep rolling in head since the teaser video especially since V killing me with his visual 😆
