When the British flag was replaced by ours at the very beginning, in a split second my mind went "People waited for almost 200 years to see this moment" and a tear dropped as we see it waving proudly on the red fort. Humara Tiranga yun hi lehrata rahe hamesha. Jai Hind 🇮🇳
I had a college professor who witnessed the creation of the Dominion of Pakistan as a teenager. He actual was close enough to have seen the Viceroy waving at the crowd.
Imagine being there and singing your national anthem as a proud Indian. I know that even imagining can also not describe that happiness All the Indians waited for independence for almost 200yrs suffering and living in poverty and because of our freedom fighter's and all those who have suffered for our country we are born independent Proud to Be indian and lots of respect for all those who sacrificed their lives for our independence Jai hind🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

At that time USA,UK like countries think that a new born coutry but they didn't think that by 1990 the Economy growth was india was double and economy was becoming double every 1 year By 2030 India will surpass the GDP of USA Goodluck India 🇮🇳
Yeah ofc we would surpass us because china and India are the fastest growing economies now. But I wish the government could develop everything faster. The infrastructure, green cities with pollution free environment, developed cities like aerocity, all old trains should be replaced and we need vande Bharat expresses on every routes. There should be 99% literacy, education for everyone. No poverty, slums and unemployment. And moreover we need to reform some of the constitutional laws , a very strict law against violating any rule just like UAE.

When the Indian Empire ended on 14/15 August, 1947, India and Pakistan become British Dominions, with George VI as Monarch. The British Raj was given a place in history.
We have vivid memories of the critical times, when Indian and world history was in the making and of the last 10 years of Pandit Nehru, who was an active contributor to this making. Nehru inherited a famished country with a population of 39 crores. The wealth of India at that time was only less than 3% of world wealth, compared to 30% in the mid 18th century. The great politician and statesman that he was, he along with the Sardar, picked up a competent team for his cabinet and with their help and with the help of able advisors, made such an India modern and secular. The secularism has got dissolved in the blood of an average Indian and it is not easy to change, for which reason some religious extremists nowadays engage in the character assassination of Nehru bringing in some other reasons. Nehru's contribution to the country is well known, but not his crucial international role. Many Asian countries that became independent from the colonial empire around the time of our independence, were tooking up to Nehru for leadership and advice, which he gave without antagonizing the west. These countries, who increased the UN membership from the initial 51 to 99 in 1960, and the nonaligned countries, all under Nehru's leadership, played a vital role in forming the global policies of the UN. Apart from the Eisenhower-Nehru formula in ending the Sues war, Nehru's role in restoring peace/ reducing the intensity of conflict in Korea, Palestine, Vietnam , Congo etc, is also internationally acclaimed. Besides all the above, he was a great scholar and an accomplished writer. He maintained his health very well till the last by practicing yogasanas. It is the back stabbing by the communist China, whom he considered as a brother and for whose admission to the UN he shed a lot of sweat, though the admission came only in 1971, that severely affected his physical and mental health, resulting in his untimely death. We can say that such a multifaceted personality is born only once in an aeon and we were lucky that we had him as our first PM at a critical time.
If I'm not wrong how national anthem can be played during first independence day celebration.....as we all know national anthem was adopted in the year 1950 which is after first Independence Day 1947.

So true!
Probably because of the bad quality sound
It is probably an orchestra, not a military band.
though ironical , the first indian anthem at the red fort was played by the Imperial British Band which is the one heard in the video

We are no longer a part of the Commonwealth Realm...and by no means a 'British dominion'..
A serious tribute to all the visionary founding forefathers of this nation🫡🇮🇳🤍
