I will have a problem with that, I've seen some stories with ridiculous women that make me want to cringe from thinking how could the writers even do this to the women, it's very unrealistic on their part to make these women that silly thinking in some shows I've watched
While the drama tries to send a message about doing the right thing and over coming obstacles there is also a very ugly message. If the behavior of the villagers including the party cadres are realistic it spells serious trouble for China and the communist party as most are extremely selfish not bothered about interest of others and the village and party and will resort to any measure including illegal actions. This show China as a place with mostly very terrible people.
I haved often stated that there are some unfavourable patterns that are often found in Cdramas. This being one and the other common one is stupid females and angry mob without brains who will physically abuse anyone.
