@@darthmetallus1977 I agree, my favorite Evile album! Ol has said several times it’s his favorite as well and he finds it greatly overrated. I’m glad they’ve played the title track though, that’s my favorite Evile song

man its sad to see such a small crowd when it zoomed out. they deserve a lot better... at damnation in the UK they had a big full room and really crushed it. i hadn't listened to them for ages and ages but they were awesome

Ol’s voice sounds great in natural form (not strained). Very similar to Jeff Waters from Annihilator.
Ol's vocals are better than they were on Bloodstock!

Thursday at 12:00, second gig that day. But yeah, could have been more, I was drinking a beer on the camp ground as well, havent paid any attention to the main stage in general.

Germany, Summer Breeze Festival, 18.08.2022, Thursday from 12:00 - 12:40
I was drinking some beer (Löwenbräu) in the camp whilst this concert was running to get ready for Gutalax, Death Angel, Cannibal Corpse and Der Weg einer Freiheit. Some nice gigs on that day, Evile would have been fun too but pretty early. Gutalax was absolute chaos, as it should.
Now you know, way too much info but there you go.

Totally not death metal, only little more agressive thrashy sound but with more growly vocals, but not death metal sounding
I don’t think they are death metal, at all. It’s still thrashy, just a little heavier.
OL is still learning to sing. He can choose to stick with the monotone, Max Cavellera type vocals, or try to learn to sing more.
To be honest, I think it is common to have to “find” your voice. Matt had to find his voice. Hell, even I had to find my voice. I listen to old recordings of the first thrash band I was in and my vocals were like Matt’s on the first album.
It took me years of singing different styles to expand my vocal abilities.
OL just took over lead vocals, but it is apparent that he has the ability to carry a tune. He will develop his voice, for certain.
Also, let’s not forget he is singing AND playing, which can be difficult while playing intricate rhythms.
I'm sorry but ol and the drummer are the only ones who belong in Evile, the other two don't have the aesthetic and make the music not look as good, like rob in metallica
