It made me laugh at first, but then I realised it didn't make any sense because they are implying circumcision is a gendered thing whereas buying a child a truck vs a barbie doll is not... But somebody identifying as non-binary or female could have a circumcision so that's not a gendered thing.... Then at the end they tell the woman "it's perfectly okay to continue performing the gender you feel most comfortable with" and she says (paraphrased) "great, I will do that because I love my long hair, pink and heels" so they contradict themselves by saying these actually ARE gendered things. Makes no sense.
dackjanielsmeup about the first part the implication is that by her the sex of the baby she is assigning the gender based on that. And secondly, she is saying that she likes traits that are generally assumed as feminine, so the point is just because you are aware that some characteristics are defined as feminine or masculine you dont have to shun them to make a point. It just so happens that her "choice" matches what the societal perception of femininity is and that is okay.
As a non-binary human, and just a human in general, I love this video concept! It was brilliant. Shows how some people just need to be opened up to new ways of thinking and how closed off most people's way of thinking are currently.
I LOVED this video. I'm a cis woman and I believe that it's important to talk about these things and distinguish between gender and gender roles as well as respect others and how they want to identify as
I love 3:48, when they say "write that down" and the camera pans up from Claudia writing to her face, I appreciate the camera work + direction on this!
I love the simplicity of the lessons in this. They're simple examples yet have so much depth to them because they're things people normally skim over when addressing these problems. The little things add up, they're what builds the foundation for how we view something or how we see it in/for ourselves. (What's 'ok' and what's 'not ok') Especially young people who are just being introduced to the idea that other options DO exist. so I greatly appreciate the mustache, razor, etc lessons you guys have in this, it makes room for bigger topics to evolve from a seemingly lesser conversation, which is a great way to get someone not as aware or against the topic to learn from it because they don't already have a base opinion before it even starts, if you just open the conversation with razors for example, instead of maybe gender based bathrooms or something greater. Much love, keep being doing what you're doing ladies, it takes one person to spark a fire in another who will follow the flame. Let that fire grow till all can see it! :)
That pacing, comedic timing, and world building, though. This is going to sound like hyperbole, but this is truly one of the best films I have ever seen in my entire life. Seriously this film is so well written, shot, edited, performed, lit, everything. Seriously. Thank you so so much for making this gem. ❤💛💚💙💜
Wow I loved this. As a non-binary human it was so fun to see her views change so quickly and aaaah I love how it was taken so lightly and with a bit of humor. Really good job, please keep doing things like this😁💗💗💞💞❤❤
They mean so much to me You are not non binary. Do you have vagina? You are woman, that's it. Any other conclusion is mental illness....see Bruce Jenner...a man with tits.

Thanks for this video. I've always felt weird about my gender. Because biogically I'm female but I've always felt more masculine but I don't necessarily want a penis. Like, it flatters me when people misunderstand me for a man (because I'm androgynous) but I still don't want to become one because I love having boobs and vagina ? Idk if it makes any sense lol I just like to look physically more masculine without being a man and people around me never really understood that. They think I can either completely be a girl or be a trans.
@@markfcoble No, that's not it. Even if you think gender and sex are the same thing (which they are not, by definition, and as people like you love to say "facts don't care about your feelings") there would be more than two genders because there are intersex people that were born a mix of male and female. Why do you care so much anyways? Isn't it a person's individual choice how they wanna be addressed and what they wanna wear, say, do, whom they wanna be with. These are the kind of issues that gender confused folks push....they want to do what ever they want, when ever they want no matter the accepted norms. I am guessing being normal is now forbidden. I love this but I don’t get the “is it a boy or a girl” one
Fucking great... Thank you so much you three for making a non gendered non labelled, nonbinary related video, that shows very simply how we're all just human. I can tell you as a nonbinary human it means a lot that people are taking the time to create videos like this now. Hopefully the world is changing for the better. And thank you for using your platform in such a way... After seeing some hateful nonbinary videos in youtube today that made me feel down, this has restored some of my faith in humanity 😊😀👍
"Trevor don't fuck this up for us, okay?"

Okay, this was absolutely awesome!!!!!!
This made my whole month 🌈✨
mine too lol
Personally I think that there are two genders, and people started using the word “gender” incorrectly to describe what they feel, not what they are. I would describe myself as an equalist, as I believe that both men and women are equal.
This was fucking adorable. I loved every minute of it.
This was great. Just thought the baby thing was a bit over the top
Yasss i need people like you guys in my life
