alt arts are tough its exactly as you said the prices change almost everyday slightly i sold all mine there as well one guy was paying 85% i couldnt believe it lol but i think u did the right thing only certain ones really sell now
Yeah I was paying for alts like 84% around April May but not anymore lol

I passed because it would be hard to find someone to buy the full set since it’s a big purchase and offloading one by one could take awhile as well

Hard pass on that large deal, rule of thumb only purchase large lots for 50-60% for risk mitigation. Expensive purchases should be done on graded singles, etc. with long term value established.

You should have checked the alt art binder for quality (maybe you did? :p ) and if you saw that the big hitters would had a good shot at a PSA 10, buy! I would have bought the whole binder all day for $5700 even do it was a little over 80%.

I personally don't understand the hate on the cgc slabs. its a super reputable company and they give fair grades, and personal there a clean nice looking slab? seems like card community gate keeping ?
There’s a new company called “degree” that I really like and the cases look pretty sharp. I just stick with PSA for the simple fact that it holds its value. I do wish other companies were more accepted in the community. It’s not like PSA even does a great job they are so inconsistent

@@packbattle that’s just for only a PSA 10, there below grades, other grading companies, people who don’t grade put in binders, sitting in booster boxes, packs, ETBs. All im saying it shouldn’t be $1k+. In the sports card world this is a $60-120 dollars card depends on the player.

Definitely good pass on the alts, too many of them are just not very good. The guy was obviously trying to get rid of everything at once so he's not stuck with the bad ones no one really wants.

That’s a wild take. Most people seem to think Sw&Sh will go down in Pokemon tcg history for the amazing art. lol I see posts about that on Reddit weekly.
