Correct, neither of them have world records yet. However, they do both hold the World Championship record in the 4x100m Relay along side Tamari Davis and Twanisha Terry (set 2023). I assume that is where the mix-up came in. Additionally, Gabby Thomas, Sydney Mclaughlin-Lavrone, Shamier Little, and Alexis Holmes ran the 2nd fastest time in Olympic history in the women's 4x400m Relay. They finished .1 seconds behind the heavily disputed 1988 Soviet Union (Russia) team (3:15.17 to 3:15.27).
