You've done a great job to pull in fans internationally, and made Goans proud, however I really wish you could pull the teenage crowd to Salvation through Gospel songs of praise and worship. God Bless you.
The song has a strong Caribbean flavor: Cuban and of Dominican Republic, definitively is chacha, the excellent Latin flavor, delicious, in spite of having been a compound and interpreted by a Goa group, congratulations my friends, excellent work.
I'm your greatest fan, Remo! Keep up the good work. This time I visit India, I'll surely buy more of your music CDS. My aunt is from Shivolim and when I visit her place I'm certainly going to pass by your ancestral home. I wish you all the best and lotsa warm Christmas greetings for you and your family. -Sonal Usgaonker Texas.

Hi Remo, What a pleasent surprise. Wow, very interesting video and music. I still have the audio tape of your first album "Pack that smack". Best regards.
It looks like a street in Havana Vieja Cuba or in Santo Domingo Dominican Republic, but not, possibly it is the the Fontainas's Neighborhood in Goa's city, in India.
Certainly the girl dances and sings as if she were a woman from the Dominican Republic or the Cuba, but in fact she is of India, and possibly of Goa, a land rich in Latino heritage, an interesting mix of East and West.
I bet you filmed this video in my part of the town (Fontainhas?) I grew up there, man! Went to Mary Immaculate Conception school, ogled the boys from People's High School, .... your music brings back old memories. Luv ur music, Remo! I even have a photographic memory of dancing to ur music at the Miramar beach, many years ago, for the Seafood festival event. luv it luv it!!!!

@TheRemoFernandes My friend you have much talent, and is at a crossroads of cultures (Western and Eastern), and which allows you to create a wide variety of musical genres, as well as Indian music, of Goa (Konkani) and those related with portuguese heritage, you should take this great opportunity, good luck. "Pura Vida"..
This music and video is really brave .your music really stands out from conventional songs viz bollywood music..i seriously belive that there are only two musicians in whole of india who does that..1.Remo and 2.A.R Rahman. is original jalwa lyrics written by you and sang as well??i am trying to find that video on youttube. Mog Sodanch..Viva Goa!

Remo, i keep listening to it again and again.. and i just cant seem to get enough of it !! Have you thought of incorporating Konkani lyrics in a new version?
Lovely groove.. simply bachata chaha cha muzic.. Remo.. Although I would like to hear your live versions without the over dubs of vocals and so many instruments... maybe guitar bongo and bass....nicely shot video though..:)
love your songs Esp the old ones. goan crazy, pack that smack, old goan gold, HUNDIR MAMA IN DIFFERENT DIALECTS. YOU are my idol man. please be with us goans.
@RemoFernandes Hi Remo... dunno.. something has happened! Among the Fidel person hahaha on the video... a bit odd... I said that i know the place... Fontainhas, near the poço.. close to Capela S.Sebastiao. I used to live near the place. Met u in Goa in 2005, at Hannah's wedding.
Hey Remo . My Spanish friends are asking me if this video was shot in Goa and if all the actors in are from India or Goan origin. Please reply .I play some konkani songs when i drive yellow cab in new york city for all goans or konkani speaking people so they feel good while walking and driving in new york city far away from Goa. Please let me know where to buy this cds for reasonable price. I also want the best songs i like on few cds as collection if i can order the recording . Great video
Hi Remo, Is there any way/ any place I can get one of your older albums.. think it was Old Goan Gold? Had that song Panch Varshom with Alisha.. Love it.
@RemoFernandes u have tons of people awaiting for you to accept them on Facebook. Anyway, i'm Carmen Miranda's friend. Sent u the pic... you can see yourself on the boat on the Mandovi river, on our way to Hannah's wedding.
@RemoFernandes No, i said something about a Cuban girl with Fidel and all. A Portuguese girl could never teach you chachacha... maybe "oh malhão, malhao!" *LOL* There was ANOTHER guy criticizing somebody else about some other song and asking her whether she thought that only Goan people should sing in konkanin. For me, the issue was the choreography! You change the music and that will make no difference. And it's so funny watching the girls dancing the dulpodas wearing Seville dresses! anyway
Remo..please keep the goan-porto flag flying high...i wish you could teach a few things to the newcomers who sing in konkani....all they do is copy from hindi songs, Choreography is a joke, some just pretend to play guitar...feels like watchin a 70s hindi song... wish u success irmao. ate logo
@luisdiego29 You're right, Luis! She's of German/Indian parentage. but grew up in Goa, which as you said is rich in Latino heritage. Very interesting and rich combination indeed. Thanks very much for enjoying it.
