what a great effect! I'd never have thought to use watercolor and will have to try it. I like using JDiction UV resin. I've made over 100 pieces of jewelry with it. Thanks for the video - very well done!
I LOVE THIS, EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS PERFECTION! it looks so realistic too! I'm just getting started with UV resin (waiting for my supplies to come in the mail!) And I would love to try this! Do you think I could do this with either acrylic paints maybe watered down or with gel polishes that I add clear gel polish to make it less opaque and more milky or will it just work with watercolor?
I don't quite understand what kind of gold? For the first 3 layers I simply poured resin and then painted with watercolors. Can you tell me the timing of where the gold appears?

Do you have a link for the scratch resistant top coat you use at the end? Your jewelry is beautiful!
If you use the resin I linked to, you don't need topcoat. This is a good resin, one resin is enough
