A great little method. One thing to add would be to keep your eye on the spot after it goes in, just in case you see the bag float to the surface which means it obviously came off the hook and you need to recast a new bag. It camn happen sometimes on impact with barbless hooks but if you don't see a bag you know you are presented well.
Good little tactic that. I’ve always used the tactic of attaching 2 foam nuggets to the hook so it parachutes down exactly how your demonstrating but yours has the extra edge as your dropping the pellets so the carp have a little bit of food to grub about. Top tip mate 👊🏻
You can put a nugget in the bag Simon 😉 get the visual nugget popping up to surface for baiting and the bait from the bag. Plus, if you use a nugget in the hookpoint you can safely put corn or boilee in the bag😁
A good way to do it if you don't want to introduce pellets (ie. there's a lot of bream around) is to put a starch foam nugget in a bit of PVA mesh and hook that on before casting out. I'd recommend this over hooking the nugget or folding/sticking because doing that can leave just enough foam on the hook to leave it popped up permanently, you see most of the nugget pop up and think it's all gone off without a hitch but your rig is still popped up like an 8" zig. I spent hours during the lockdowns testing all the ways to use foam and the pva mesh method was by far the most reliable and repeatable
Parachute is a great rig. Personally myself I like to put the hook and hook bait into the bag the same as the usual way but still keeping that lead out of the bag. That way your hook and bait is even more free of anything on the bottom and also sits in amongst the pea bags contents better.
Why not use PVA mesh and just plunge 3/4 foam nuggets in before the pellets? And the nuggets are a great sight marker to feed over or just a indicator you're fishing. Fire cheaper than solid bags

That’s how I do it , or even a couple of old pop ups
That’s what I do always works and can see nuggets as a marker to ping a few over the top
They scare every carp off for yards with lead bashing 😂
