if by “they” you mean the fans then I agree 100%. Same with Bálor, Bayley, Sasha, Nakamura, fans who only like wrestlers for their debut hype then forget about them after their first kinda lame fued or gimmick are the worst, and they ruined so many more wrestlers by just giving up when a superstar was “being booked wrong” or whatever. That’s such a lame way to be a fan. They don’t even know it either, they think it’s the company that ruins pro wrestlers 😂 no, it’s the wannabe backstage journalist fans who take this shit seriously. You wanna take it seriously? Get into the business, don’t talk like some know it all booker, AS A FAN?? Tf ?? Cheer for a superstar with a lame gimmick if you want them to succeed, that’ll prove that they are over and deserve a more serious gimmick! No more breaking kayfabe 🤣 Nah, y’all just like booing what you think is wrong booking, y’all don’t wanna just be normal fans who cheer for who you like! Smfh lmfao wrestling and it’s fans were so much better before like 2007, nowadays you’d he hard pressed to find a normal fan who doesn’t care bout booking or heels or faces and just likes certain wrestlers bc they are cool

Not pushing him also killed the battle royal too. It was never the same after that. Shame too because even if it’s the pre show. It’s a good way to get everyone else on the card. Make it for a title match. Main or midcard and you are good to go. Idk why it’s so hard for the company to put stakes to their matches.

It's funny how I come back to my comment a year later. I remember much more about it. He had won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. And he had body slammed somebody really heavy. Maybe Mark Henry? And the crowd went nuts. And then I believe he was put with Sheamus. However The Bar I think came before all of this? So maybe my timeline is messed up and it was a different tag team. Either way all I remember was as soon as I saw him with a tag team I knew his momentum had been squashed for no reason whatsoever. He's one of the few AEW wrestlers I actually enjoy. He makes his work look believable which you can't say for 95% of the roster there. He needs to be AEW champion which may very well happen with the storylines that they have going on due to the BCC breaking up. However I don't watch AEW anymore due to them lying and screwing over CM Punk.
They are only good for watching a pay-per-view. But even then you have the fast forward through every women's match other than the title match because the division only has four decent women in it. Giulia going to WWE is a major coup. She's going to fit right in

I mean i love Cesaro/Claudio a lot but he's just not a World Champion level guy. Stick him in the midcard with the 'work rate' title like an IC belt or a TV title etc and it's golden, or have him as a tag team star (where he actually started and made his name in the first place).
Him and Chris Hero were one of the best tag teams in the world at one point as the Kings of Wrestling. Cesaro also had his best ever period as The Bar with Shaemus. It's just when he tries to go solo it all falls apart.

I'll say it again over and over and over again until me and everybody else is blue in the face. Cesaro was the most underutilized superstar in WWE before he asked for his release. He will be missed and I hope to see him maybe pull off a Drew McIntyre type thing. Come back. Dominate and FINALLY win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. I know I'd like to see it.
