This man should have been World Heavyweight Champion or at least universal Champion a long time ago he had everything that screamed world champion charisma at least in Ring of Honor they gave him a world championship title run
He had the misfortune of getting hot during the “Yes” movement, and right as the shield were starting to take over. Had DB not gotten hurt and the should break up happening not long after, it’s possible he might’ve beaten him for it at some point. Most people forget he pinned world champ Randy clean 1 on 1 right before mania, and had the most memorable ATG battle royal moment by winning the first one and beating the guy everyone swore would win it.
cesaro had several moments when he was over and than was fed to some uppercard guy. after this happened 5 or 6 times people including me gave a little bit up on hyping him cause we knew he is getting fed to someone who does not needs the victory again. it was really sad. it was mostly exhausting and a major reason i gave up on watching wwe. better said before i mostly tuned only in for the cesaro match. but the limbo of him gaining steam, the crowd loving him and than loosing on television not even ppv to make someone look good without any meaning or payoff repeated so often.

Either way all I remember was as soon as I saw him with a tag team I knew his momentum had been squashed for no reason whatsoever. He's one of the few AEW wrestlers I actually enjoy. He makes his work look believable which you can't say for 95% of the roster there. He needs to be AEW champion which may very well happen with the storylines that they have going on due to the BCC breaking up. However I don't watch AEW anymore due to them lying and screwing over CM Punk. They are only good for watching a pay-per-view. But even then you have the fast forward through every women's match other than the title match because the division only has four decent women in it. Giulia going to WWE is a major coup. She's going to fit right in

I'll say it again over and over and over again until me and everybody else is blue in the face. Cesaro was the most underutilized superstar in WWE before he asked for his release. He will be missed and I hope to see him maybe pull off a Drew McIntyre type thing. Come back. Dominate and FINALLY win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. I know I'd like to see it.

I was at WM 30 when Cesaro won the Andre Battle Royale. He was insanely over with the fans even back in 2014. Then they put him with Heyman and his momentum died for some reason.
