I'm a Lions fan so naturally I'm biased but to me Dan Campbell is the perfect guy you want leading your team. People think he's a meathead due to some of his press conferences(most notably his first one) and the fact that he is just a jacked up former TE but the reality is he is the furthest thing from that. He embraces analytics more than just about any other coach, hence his "aggresive" 4th down calls which just about all of them the analytics agree with. You also have to keep in mind that his mentor was Sean Payton so he isn't some dummy, he puts plenty of emphasis on the X's and Os. K so we established the fact that he is analytically minded, he doesn't sacrifice that by not being a true "football guy" either. He's a former pro which if you ask most players they have a certain amount of respect for cause they been there, so he's smart, commands respect and is a master motivator. Finally you have to look at results, yes the Lions have a stacked roster but they are still extremely young and virtually none of them proved anything without Campbell. People say Goff is overrated and isn't even a top 10 QB well he's went 20-6 in his last 26 regular season games along with an NFC Championship appearance without a top 10 QB or elite defense. That's almost unheard of in the NFL and a big reason why is Campbell. Not only due to how he motivates guys and gets the best out of players but due to his in game strategies. The coaching analytics all say he is at or near the top in WPA added in things like 4th down decisions, Time out usages and fake kicks. Long story short he is young, a former player, analytically smart/acceptant and loved by all his players. To me he is just the total package for who I would want to be my Head Coach.
This exercise underscores the gulf between ten coaches and Andy Reid. In arguably the worst year of the Reid-Mahomes hook up, they still win the Super Bowl. Hall of Fame HC. Check. Hall of Fame QB. Check. And arguably the best big-game Defensive Coordinator ever (and if there is ever an exception to DCs going to the HoF, it would be Spagnuolo). Check. Chance of KC three-peating? Probably pretty high.

He was objectively a winner, but was not able to win it all until he had the Lebron James to Tom Brady’s MJ. I'm bearish on Lefluer and Love, Love played good in the 2nd half of the season otherwise he's a pedestrian QB. He's sat for multiple years was mentored by Rodgers and not s single person today would take him over Stroud. He's very Jay Cutler, very good arm talent but something is missing. I'd put Dan Campbell ahead of John Harbaugh. Tomlin is in my Top 6 don't know who's getting moved out but he's aTop 6 HC. Making the playoffs in the AFC is difficult enough doing it with backup QBs in the toughest DIV and that's exactly who Rudolph and Pickett are.... Tomlin is in my Top 6. I'm with you on KS over McVay for different reasons, making multiple SBs with middle of the road QBs having to consistently scheme guys open due to QB limitations goes a long way. As profitable gamblers we value HCs that do more with less specifically at the QB position, for #10 would I'd probably lean Doug Peterson over Matt Lefluer.
