The Bathroom-scene between Christina and Owen 8x19

I love this scene because you start to see the old christina. the one who would have never let a man do what he and Burke did to her. I love her character so much
Burke and Owen wasn't the problem. It was Christina that was the problem. She didn't want kids she just wanted her career. If anything both men loved her enough to let her be who she is and have what she wanted. Burke walked away from their wedding because he knew she didn't want to get married and if she did get married it was because to help her career. She didn't love Preston Burke the man she loved Preston Burke the surgeon. He was like Owen he wanted kids too so imagine once they got married when she was gonna tell him that she didn't want kids just like with Owen. Preston and Christina not getting married was the best thing to ever happen. Also, remember Christina told Burke in the beginning stage of their relationship that they had nothing in common but medicine. Owen wanted kids and her not wanting kids he found out why they were doing a surgery. Owen thought because Christina and Meredith were friends and the fact that Meredith has kids that Christina would eventually want kids and that never happened. Both men there was no real communication. It was just sex and their careers that they talked about.

Faith Watkins in some parts I agree but on others I don’t, I never liked Burke. If you watched the episodes when Burke and Cristina were a thing, you can tell that Burke was always trying to turn Cristina in not someone she was not and constantly got upset with her for literally every reason he could find. I like Owen better then Burke accept for that one episode where he choked her
@@natalie1547 he wasn't trying to change Christina. He was making clear that he loved her and wanted a future with her even after she lost their baby and was willing to get an abortion before she had the miscarriage. Everything Christina did was her Choice. When he got shot and he had a tremor in his hand Christina suggested that she help with the surgeries and nobody had to know. He didn't ask her to do that. She did that to keep him as her mentor. With the exception of Teddy Christina has slept with every mentor she has had from her professor in med school to Burke to the guy in Minnesota.

One of the greatest "speeches" she's ever had. She realizes how strong she is in that moment and how silly she is for crying over his stupidity and horrible behaviour, "because of a boy."

I think in this scene Owen finally understood he is just a boy for Cristina. The facial expression Kevin portrays says it all. Silent acceptance. The way she laughed at him and calling him just a boy was heartbreaking.

The storyline of the whole cheating thing was one of the best. It was so painful to watch and yet beautiful because Kevin and Sandra made it so PERFECT. They're chemistry together (on and off screen) is literally so much better than anything else I've seen before.
I love this show. They made a super strong and independent character like Cristina, in the old days she wouldn’t give a shit about a guy cheating on her, but here she was in a fragile moment. Owen broke her first, he made her feel guilty for the abortion, made her feel like she wasn’t enough for him, she couldn’t give him what he needed. And thats why she was so paranoid before he confessed, thats why that cheating broke her that much, it was way too personal… straight into her self steem. I get you Cristina…

This made me too sad I couldn’t watch it. Sandra’s such an amazing actress that I felt her pain through the screen.
I love this scene, it's really empowering. The moment she realized that this 'BOY' was not worth it of her tears, pain and emotions. Owen is trash and a whiny boy. It's a good thing that Cristina left him. He did many horrible things to Cristina and she forgiving him but now, it's not. My Queen slayed it! ❤
This is why Burke had to set Cristina free. And I respected Burke so much for that
