I've been playing this song ATLEAST 5 times a day, EVERYDAY for the past 4 years. I kid you not that, I play it so often, it drives everyone crazy. It's a nostalgia type song that brings me back to multiple time frames in my life that are both bad and good. Some songs bring you to a time in your life, THIS song brings me back to MANY. This track has changed my life and I can't stop listening to it. All of my friends, family, my wife, my enemies all know this song as my anthem. I proudly play this over and over and over and cannot get tired of it. People who constantly live in the past using memories will undertand. Thank you Timecop1983
I really understand you. The time this video was posted, around 2015/16 match a really good time in my life with my girl and our happy life. And the 80's memories kinda of take me to a happy place in a happy time back to my childhood. Nowadays everyday is a fucking battlefield. "And we try to never part ways"
You don't know how many times this song kept me away of a panick attack. I'm heading toward a job interview right now, and of course I play it, because I know it will save me from stress and anxiety. Thank you Timecop1983

Although I was born at the literal end of the 80s, everything about this video fits so perfectly with how I felt growing up in the 90s. And you know what? It was the best. Wouldn't trade my childhood for anything in the world.
Every kid born late 80s (89 my self) grew up early 90s turned 10 or 11 2000s have been 100% exposed to 80s media reruns this slaps so different for me my goodness

I think the rap works perfectly. Normally this is not my preference in this genre, but remember as a kid in the 80's there were songs with both genre came across and felt kinda cheesy, This song is exceptional and beautifully composed. Made me feel open minded because we should appreciate great work and think outside the box... lyric is emotional, just great. I'll listen to this while driving into sunset. We are listening around the world
By far my absolute favorite song by Timecop1983. I hum the tune all day and night in my head. Truly a talented and inspirational artist. You are one of my favorite synthwave artists, and I am trying to walk in your footsteps with my own music as well. If I can only have a fraction of your skill and method, it would be amazing. Well done....well done. If you were here right now in New Jersey USA with me, I'd shake your hand as a gentleman, then give you a hug as a friend for being so inspirational and creating the music that you do that helps me get through my day.
I'm late 70s and 80s young child/teen in that decade, but such fond memories of innocence and simplicity in life and humbleness, those adverts etc were amazing, also technology was just beginning in that era, those memories will always stay with me but will be lost once my eyes shut forever.
The 80s and 90s… It wasn’t just an era, it was a magical chapter, a world where every moment felt more vivid, more alive. We remember the nights spent rewinding tapes to replay those songs that became the soundtrack of our lives. Sundays spent watching TV with family, filled with laughter and the joy of simple yet unforgettable moments. Cars like the 205 GTI or the Clio Williams weren’t just vehicles-they had soul, they carried dreams of freedom and adventure. In the streets, kids played, friendships were forged over games of soccer or hide-and-seek. It was a time when conversations were face-to-face, smiles were genuine, and every connection felt meaningful. And yet, despite the warmth of these memories, we know we can never go back. That time, forever etched in our hearts, belongs to a past we can only treasure from afar. Life moves forward, times change, and this nostalgia reminds us of how unique those years were. They leave us with bittersweet feelings: the joy of having experienced them and the ache of knowing they will never return. But perhaps that’s their greatest magic: remaining eternal in our memories.

I'm tired of
Waiting here all by myself
Waiting for the future
With one thing in mind
I've been waiting all by myself
With my dreams in my hands no backup plan
I decide my own life
Dice poker face lets dance tonight
I see her shining all by herself
She's been waiting for the right touch
Work of art
Perfect heart
To make it work
She thinks it would
I understand now
Makes perfect sense
I dream the same thing
Move by emotion
Honest by deception
Got you right to the core
We could have been here
Should of known you
Would take shortcuts
Straight to my heart
She shines
Diamonds in the sky breaking all the rules
Roll the dice
All night
Gamble with a fragile heart
This is not enough
To keep us up
Above the water we're fading now
Just pictures in a dusty dream
Memories
Save just enough to live another day
And we try
We try
To find another way
We try
To live another day
We try
To never part ways
We try
For peace everyday
Big world
Maybe wrong time
Gotta be at the right place at the right time
Been doing me every night is that a crime
Bandana over eyes I swear I was blind
I swear I was lost
Now I'm found
Remember your touch
Remember were blind
Remember your voice
Remember the lies
I was doing to much now my hands untied
She shines
Diamonds in the sky breaking all the rules
Roll the dice
All night
Gamble with a fragile heart
This is not enough
To keep us up
Above the water we're fading now
Just pictures in a dusty dream
Memories
Save just enough to live another day
And we try
