Jammie’s gentle trusting personality is shining through. Would love to see some detailed training videos with Winnie. Did she have a bit evaluation too? What about Ari?
I saw a horse one time the owner tacked him up. Then fell side ways to protest. It was kind of funny but to the owner, she laughed but the horse wanted what he wanted.
I love how gentle this horse is, but could you not a put a halter on the horse to get it to its feet before putting a bit in its mouth? With a halter, you would have been pulling on the back of her head rather than her mouth, I guarantee that wasn't comfortable and even hurt to a degree. I also never recommend doing a horse's feet when they're on the ground. If the horse decides that it's time to stand up, you could easily get crushed, your hands could get smashed under their feet, they could even get the hoof pick lodged in their foot, it's just overall not a safe thing to do. Edit: also by entering her stall and messing around with her while she is down, and forcing her to get up, you're teaching her that whenever you are around, she's not allowed to rest. That creates distrust. Go in there and groom her and all of that, but forcing her to her feet and making her work when she's resting? No.
My lesson horse was nearly like this last week, lol, it was the first really hot day of the season, and poor fella thought he would just DIE if he moved. 😂

@@Miko2030 yeaaa. If you are a good equestrian youre gonna feel it
It's not even being a good equestrian, it's just knowing animal body language. Miko is the clown here, dude doesn't understand that animals need breaks too.
@@darkwolf2622 Ok but don’t you think the person in the video knows their own horse better. If they let this happen everytime the horse will start doing it more. I highly doubt the owner doesn’t let the horse rest at all. She feeds, bathes, and takes care of them. In the video she’s even combing them so they’ll get up.
In summary, we don’t know what happened before the video. It’s likely that the horse already got a long enough break so she’s getting them up.
@@Miko2030 girl, Nahhhh😂
Ohhhhhhh sooooo cuteeeee❤😂the horse is sleeping
If the horse is tired you allow it to rest. You claim that you have a headache toothache or some other malady when you when you don't want to work.
Whinnie is a young horse that doesn’t get ridden very often, she also states in a lot of her vlogs that Whinnie is always lying down meaning that she is getting enough rest, just because a horse is lying down doesn’t mean it’s tired, my horses lie down all the time even when they’ve been in the stable all day and not been ridden it’s just something they do stop hating on Meg you don’t know her personally so keep your goddam opinions to yourself
@Mrs.malfoy13 I've seen this comment before, lots of copy pasting i see
Now before you rant on me, im gonna be doing something.
And everyone if this happens remember to do an extra long extra slow warm-up!! Lots of long and low, no quick collection or passes. Way better for the muscles that are probably stiff from all that weight👍
Love it , Meg! 😇💖so sweet!
I say let it rest, let it rest let it rest let it shiver up in sleep :]

If the horse is tired i would let it sleep and rest.

Aw we love you Winnie and Meg 😂 ❤
Nah bros having the time of his life- 😂😂
She is the sweetest 💗
To the ppl who are say u dont NEED to ride
Sometimes she does need to ride, like u are going to a show in a phew days and u really need to practice. Its her life and i know she cares for her horses, she loves them!So stop being rude and mind ur own business. Not ur life, not ur business.
Now there’s a lot of hate on this. This horse may of had to be worked at a certain time due to a routine and working another horse after. So she let the horse rest for a bit then tacked up. It’s not like me dragged it up into the wash bay . It’s her choice so leave her alone . Also Meg new sub! ( I subbed before I saw this but I subbed today so )
How beautiful this is. Beautiful girl, beautiful horse. ❤💜👍
So cute love it
You are so adorable! I love watching you!
Aahahah she is so calm around you ❤
I just rode for the first time today❤ and this is how the horse/Tonka I’m riding acts🤣but when we bring the bridle out he gets up
But mama 5 more minutes plz. 😂😂😂
I’m imagining some 18th century escapade
Not even horses can escape waking up for work 😩
I love Winnie so much, this is so ridiculous 😂 Definitely shows how much love, care and trust they have in you Meg 🥰
Tolles Pferd ❤
Love it!!!❤😊❤!!!
She is so adorable!😂
So sweet, let her relax and you brush her ❤❤
I love her! shes so cute!
OMG. SUPER VIDEO. 🐎💋❤️❤️❤️😊🤗

That's adorable 😍😍😍😍❤❤
love how she just sits there if that was my horse it would have been like hell no bye
Non equestrians:
How to ride a tired horse
*fight them 👹*
and I thought my kids were spoiled 😂😂😂 love this ❤
Jammie’s gentle trusting personality is shining through. Would love to see some detailed training videos with Winnie. Did she have a bit evaluation too? What about Ari?
I thought jam was the white Connemara? I'm so confused now 😂 have I been calling the wrong horse the wrong name?
Jam is the connemara
This is her foal:)
I meant genetically Jam’s calm and trusting personality has been passed down to Winnie her foal
@@rutherose23 ooh gotcha! Sorry i qas confused at first since i hadnt watched her videos in awhile.
Winnie is very sleepy
I saw a horse one time the owner tacked him up. Then fell side ways to protest. It was kind of funny but to the owner, she laughed but the horse wanted what he wanted.
This happened to my friend before our riding lesson earlier😂😂❤
Oh Winnie 😅 I hate having to get them up but unfortunately there just isn’t enough hours in the day to always let them snooze ❤
Its nice to see a UA-cam shorts with someone actually wearing a hat
Homegirl is so done with life
Too funny! Have a great ride!
Too bad your horses can't relax around you. LOL. Good job on your horses' relaxation.
NAAAUUUUUU YOU BROKE THE EQUESTRIAN LAW OF NOT RIDING WHEN THEY GET UP XDDDD
Hysterical. Love...😂😅❤
My horse is 16½ hands and I'm 5ft (still young). This would be a dream especially for the bridle 😂😂
No.
Aaaw how cute ❤❤
Poor pony just wanted a sleep. Also Meg love your videos there the best
Beautiful.❤
My lesson horse was nearly like this last week, lol, it was the first really hot day of the season, and poor fella thought he would just DIE if he moved. 😂
A lot of people say just letting the horse rest, and yes that is true. But we don’t know what this was for. Winnie since she was born was always one to chill and lay down whenever, wherever 😂so maybe she needed to get up. We don’t know the issues that are happening behind this little skit.
exactly 😅😅
also whinnie is very young, personally i would spend time working on her to make her a brilliant horse, not waiting ages for her to get up and think its okay to say no for no reason
@@maggieandponiesFr, like you don’t wanna teach them to lay down every time they don’t wanna do something, also. There’s time for work. And there’s time for rest
Your horse must really trust you to stay lying down with you in the stall.
Everybody needs to stop hating on this video. It was made to be a funny little aspect about being an equestrian. And you all just keep hating on this video
Edit:
I just realized that this video was a joke 😂
(I’m dumb)
This is important✅per her tip: riding in the wee hours esp in summer IS critical for training. We have up to 🔥97-112F weather in the SE USA-prep for an event is earlier to avoid heat stroke 🥺
You guys have no clue how long the horse hadn’t been exercised or moved around if you let the horse lay around when ever it wants it’s never going to want to move
Love this😂
Y'all this might be the only time she has to exercise her horse today, which is especially important with stabled horses.
Cool stuff
Man i wish. My 5yo firmly believes that we Always Need to be Going Somewhere. So even if he stays laying down once ive walked out and patted him a few times, he gets up and asks where we're going and when im feeding him next 😂
Love her ❤
Aww so cute ❤ This video made me smile ❤
When I go to ride and I see that my horse is still resting, I leave and come back later. Can't stand to make my horse like a slave.

Sooo cute
My horse is the same everytime I go out 😂
He's in a pasture with other horses though
But he's the boss so nobody will come near the gate if he's leaving it
I would’ve just done ground work that day.
