❤❤❤❤ I LOVE this little boat ride! A beautiful day and friendly cast members. I enjoyed the tidbit about Walt and Shipwreck Island. Thanks for sharing the Florida sunshine! V!
Is it just me or does it seem like ages since the last boat ride? Really enjoyed the little story about Walt. Your cast member was awesome and I actually remember River Country 😊. This was fun 🤩
Hi there Mike! 😃 It has been a while, I was happy to be back on the water and I thought the cast member was great! I always love hearing new stories and facts. 😍 I’m jealous that I never got to visit River Country, the old videos look so cool. I’m wondering what they will end up doing with that spot? I would love something to go in and them connect Fort Wilderness to Wilderness Lodge again.
So interested in what will happen with the area formerly known as River Country--it was going to be the site of a new DVC Hotel called "Reflections," but that construction has apparently stopped. I don't know if that means it will never be built, or if it is just in limbo like so many Disney Projects. The construction site is still there, and so is some of the equipment--of course now the cabins are all getting a DVC makeover, so maybe something different is in the cards? Would LOVE to see something done with Discovery Island, too!
Hi Daniel! 😃 I’m super interested too, I’ve only discovered how awesome Fort Wilderness is this past year and I’m so jealous that I never got to walk the old trail between there and Wilderness Lodge. At least it is going to be so cool documenting the changes that will be happening in the coming years! 😍
Hi Jen! 😃 Well, this time it was my turn to be sick. I’m much better, just tired now but I haven’t been outside in a week so that should help you catch up. 😂 I hope you are having a great Saturday!
@@wdwexploreandchill oh no 😟 I’m sorry to hear that my friend. You got whatever had been going around i guess? Having a great Saturday, my favorite local brewery is having a Mardi Gras kick off 👍
@@JenThePirate Ooh that sounds like fun! Yeah, my sinuses go nuts when the weather changes and having 6 stinking cats doesn’t help BUT I got an electric netti pot on Amazon and I really think it is going to be a game changer for me… I don’t think it would have gotten that bad this time if I had received it a week earlier.
So conflicted; want to camp at Fort Wilderness for a couple weeks at WDW--or alternately go see U2 at the Sphere in Vegas. About the same cost 😱🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑😵💫 Saw them live at Bonnaroo in 2017--incredible. Can say I've seen 3 out of the greatest 5 bands of all time--Missed the Beatles and Zeppelin, but did get to see Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, and U2. Can you imagine them playing EPCOT? ua-cam.com/video/rXfwz0fMWdQ/v-deo.htmlsi=EvpaolKol2FizgOa
Chris and I saw U2 in Tampa a few years back for the Joshua Tree Tour and we were so excited because that album was huge for both of us way back when we first met… and it was horrible! Every song was unrecognizable when we just wanted to sing with the band. Unlike my favorite band, the Foo Fighters who play their hearts out and you can sing your hearts out right with them… that is what we were expecting but it was all artsy and weird. That being said, I would LOVE to see them in Vegas at the Sphere!!!! We love Vegas and haven’t been since before everything turned upside down. I’d have to go with Vegas on this one… but two weeks at Fort Wilderness does sound like heaven… tough decision Daniel.
@@wdwexploreandchill Honestly, I love to hear all new interpretations of songs I've loved for years--my performance was the Joshua Tree tour too, and they played for about 3 and half hours. Amazing. Would love to see the Foo Fighters--or just hang out and have some beers with Dave Grohl. Seems like he would be awesome to just hang with. Was so horribly sad to hear of Taylor Hawkin's death--such a talent gone far too young. A real shame. Didn't get to see them play Bonnaroo--health was too bad that year. Did see Muse--which was awesome.
@danielvandersall6756 I’ll have to go back and watch that one on youtube and see if I have judged it too harshly. Chris’ disappointment may have clouded my enjoyment of it at the time, I’ll let you know. 😉 Muse was amazing I bet. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen FF, the last time we went up to Atlanta becasue they weren’t coming to Fl at all and that was when he had a broken leg and it was as good as any of the others if not better. I don’t usually cry over celebrity deaths but I sure did with Taylor Hawkins. 💜 Oh and we are seeing them this summer at the Daytona Speedway, with Journey and Cheap Trick! 😮
I'm no bird watcher, but I love the sound of grackles - they sound like Disney world
Is that what kind of bird hopped onto the boat at Fort Wilderness? I love the sound of them and would have to agree wholeheartedly!

The cast members, sunshine, water and birds made it a wonderful time and I’m glad you enjoyed it too! 😉

If I can't be there....it's nice to go along on your explore and chill video !!!
Thank you for coming along Pam. 😉
good afternoon thank you for sharing I will be watching along as I walk at my desk editing photos.

Thanks so much and have fun editing! 😉

I like the outro music =)
Thank you Clark! I don’t know why it took me so long to make an outro, Kirk did a great job with the music and it’s about time I started using it. 😉
Very relaxing! (Ugh I’m so far behind in videos lol)

@@wdwexploreandchill an electric one? I didn’t know they had electric ones!
I was wondering how deep is the deepest part was now I know 40ft.
I had always wondered that too!
