New Year Steam Special

The day before New Year’s Eve, 2023 and I felt the need to go out for some fresh air!
I decided to visit Bewdley station, on the Severn Valley Railway to see what was happening on one of their last running days before Spring.
There were plenty of steam trains running, and also one of the fleet of heritage diesels that I hadn’t seen before.
Locomotives running were:
ex GWR Hall Class 4930 - Hagley Hall
BR Riddles 4MT 75069
LMS Stanier Mogul 2968
BR Class 46 D182
In addition, Ivatt 4MT 43106 and ex GWR Manor Class 7812 Erlestoke Manor were stationary at the Motive Power Depot.
The weather was overcast and blustery - I felt rain wasn’t far away, but it stayed dry.

The LMS loco didn't have many carriages - was it a regular service or charter?

I think it was a dining charter for the group that own the loco. Caught me by surprise actually, I hadn’t checked the working timetable!!
